The part of this I think is underrated: the skill already knows what questions to ask. Each one carries the judgment of someone who knows the work, which comparisons to run, what to flag, before you've even connected your data. And the workflows take it a step further, the same judgment running on a schedule, landing in Slack or email without anyone triggering it. Absolutely amazing!

skills as executable content is a framing more people should pay attention to. a blog post tells you how to analyze paid ads, a skill just does it. that shift from readable knowledge to runnable knowledge is going to change how the entire analytics content ecosystem works. the blank canvas problem you mentioned is real too, most people don't fail at using AI because the AI is bad, they fail because they don't know what to ask. packaging the right questions alongside the data connection is a smart solve.
Big congrats to the team ๐ช
The thing I keep coming back to with Skills Marketplace is that you don't have to think like a senior analyst to get a useful answer out of it. The skill knows what to ask. Most AI analytics tools skip that part, which is usually why their output needs a cleanup pass before you can actually use it.
Curious to see where this goes, keep it up ๐
The agency use case is the clearest demonstration of the value. Same expert-grade analysis, per client account, on a consistent cycle, without rebuilding the report from scratch each time. Download the skill, run it with Claude on each client's connected Databox data, get the finished output. For recurring reporting across multiple accounts, the time saved isn't incremental. It's the entire assembly step removed. That's the kind of change that actually affects how many accounts a small team can manage.
The RevOps argument for Skills Marketplace is straightforward. You have data in Databox. You have Claude. What you've been missing is the framing that turns a live data connection into a finished analysis. Skills do that. The SEO skill knows which metrics a search lead cares about. The paid ads skill knows how to break out ROAS by campaign before drawing conclusions. That expert judgment is what makes the output usable without a review step. For teams running regular performance reporting, that's the part that matters.
What stands out to me from the CS side is the connection layer. Every skill reads from Databox MCP, not a CSV export or a pasted sample. So it's essentially querying real metric definitions and historical data across 130+ live sources. This matters because it's the difference between a CSM handing a customer a polished-looking summary that falls apart the second they ask a follow-up question. Only summaries where the underlying logic is theirs is the one where they'll draw actual value from.
