What's next for DESIGN:OS Studio (roadmap)

Here's what's coming, straight from our GitHub milestones. There are no dates; we ship when it's ready, usually in small patches.

Now: v0.6.3–v0.6.9 patches

- A UI revamp to a new dark theme across Home, panels, dialogs and the Agents panel.

- A one-file design-token export, so a kit can be onboarded from tokens alone.

- CLI fixes: reliable screenshots and node addressing by id.

Next

- v0.7 Effects & Export: progressive blur, glass, blend modes on shadows, image adjustments.

- v0.8 Variables everywhere: bind variables to every bindable property, Display P3 + OKLCH, design-token import/export.

- v0.9 Present like Keynote: 26 slide transitions, presenter view, PPTX import/export.

Later (milestones already open)

- v0.10 variable-width strokes · v0.11 motion timeline & keyframes · v0.12 run Figma plugins locally · v0.13 branch, review and merge inside a file

- Further out: Code Connect, a desktop MCP over HTTP, Lottie export, Sketch import, and AI image tools routed through your own agent CLI (no bundled model).
