Hi Product Hunt! Jang here, maker of DESIGN:OS Studio, a FREE desktop design app built so AI agents can design alongside you. Six releases shipped between Oct 17 and Oct 23. Short version:

v0.3.0 Paste & Styles (Oct 17)

- Copy a selection in Figma desktop, Cmd+V into Studio: layers land as one undo step, images included.

DESIGN:OS Studio v0.6.2 shipped Oct 26. It's FREE, as always. This patch is mostly about agent safety:

- Ask-mode approval rights live outside every folder an agent can write to.

- Claude's hook reads from a private folder; project/local settings aren't loaded.

design:os studio 0.3 ~ actually shipped yesterday but spent time working on the promo video and only posting it now, preparing for the 0.4 release.

Some noteworthy things that 0.3 can do:

Paste from Figma: copy the selection area in Figma desktop, press Cmd+V in Studio. Layers and images are all there, one undo is enough to remove them.

Agent directly edits the file you have open: Claude Code, Codex, or Antigravity work through the included designos-mcp server. Each edit by the agent is a separate undo step, and the agent waits while you drag and drop.
