DESIGN:OS Studio is a free, source-available (PolyForm Shield 1.0.0) Rust desktop design studio for designers and design engineers. Its GPU-backed canvas, components, variables, Auto Layout and Dev Mode keep design and code in one local-first workspace. It reads and writes Figma-compatible .fig v106 files and includes an 11-stage spec reader, a 22-tool stdio MCP server, and an embedded PTY panel for coding-agent CLIs.

v0.6.2 is out: safer Ask mode for AI agents

DESIGN:OS Studio v0.6.2 shipped Oct 26. It's FREE, as always. This patch is mostly about agent safety:

- Ask-mode approval rights live outside every folder an agent can write to.

- Claude's hook reads from a private folder; project/local settings aren't loaded.
