Drag 2.0 - Reinventing Gmail for teams

Drag is rebuilding Gmail for teams. Lots of tasks start and end as an email but teams need to move back and forth between tools. Drag is a Shared Inbox that brings the power of customer support, sales and operations back into where you spend your day - Gmail.

Managing my email in its current state and toggling between that and other product management boards is time consuming. This product helps easily visualize my email, collaborate with my team, and organize the day.

Pros:

This type of tool is a must have! It is already extremely useful and the team is constantly improving on the product

Cons:

Doesn't have mobile yet

BenCole
Hey @jinesh_patel Great to hear this! What feature(s) attracted you to Drag? Mobile version will be coming soon :D

We have saved countless hours of time by organizing our inbox's in a more meaningful way

Pros:

This just makes sense. Easily allowed our team to organize and streamline our efforts in one place.

Cons:

Could have benefitted from slightly more information while getting started

BenCole
Hey @sethhauben, Amazing to hear this has helped out the team! Can I ask, which department are you using Drag with? Sorry to hear that you feel you didn't have enough information when getting started but would love to schedule a 1-1 call to catch up on Drag with you. Please do email support@dragapp.com and we can get a call booked :)

Drag solves many problems we face during the day

Pros:

Great tool to manage customer support and sales tasks in Gmail. No need to juggle between different software

Cons:

App support will be good but not necessary as we manage things on computer

BenCole
Amazing to hear that Drag is helping manage your CS and sales, @oguzhanuyar :D Drag is here to support you from directly inside your Gmail without jumping between tools! What apps are you looking for the support on?

So far this is the best, most usable implementation of a task managmenet system. I already used Gmail's Inbox as a task management tool; this makes it much more functional and I don't have to leave Gmail at all. The team functionality that I've tried in beta is extremely useful for transparency & accountability between key people & functional areas of the business. Looking forward to improvements based on a tighter integration w/Gmail-native API's while still maintaining this beautiful simplicity: a non-trivial task. Bravo/Brava!

Pros:

Transparent integration with Gmail; simplest and most flexible implementation of email-based kanban-style task tracking.

Cons:

Needs Task history, native gcal reminder integration.

BenCole
Hey @paul_mcclellan, Love the feedback. Great to hear the ease of use you have found with Drag :D Could you please email us with some more information around the task history and gcal reminder integration?

Awesome add-on to Gmail. I became a paid member as soon as 1.0 launched. Looking forward to diving deeper into the new version!

Pros:

Super quick to setup and use. Very intuitive interface. Nick and his team are always available to help!

Cons:

So many emails and planning are done on my phone, I'd love to see a mobile component.

BenCole
Great to hear this feedback, @dontheideaguy! Mobile app is something the team are working on so watch this space :D

Took a few days to break the muscle memory of jumping between Slack / Gmail / Trello in Station (Mac App)...smooth sailing ever since! Love Drag!

Pros:

Supercharged Trello in my inbox!

Cons:

No mobile app yet, but not a huge deal

Geary Tsutsui

Only product I have found of it's kind that allows a shared Gmail inbox between a team

Pros:

Works inside of the Gmail UI, continuously improving, quick response from developers

Cons:

Add the ability to drag and drop emails to Google Tasks while using the Drag extension

I've been usig Dragapp for one year and i can tell how dynamic is sharing the e-mail using a board instead of delivering to you team inbox. The flow of work that this apps gives you Is really the differential. Everyone who works with teams and e-mail flows should try it!
