@ninaaaa0913 Thanks Nina!

Just tried out Dualite Alpha, and I honestly liked how smooth everything felt. The best part for me? Everything stays in the browser; no need to worry about where my stuff is going.

Importing my Figma design and syncing with GitHub was super easy. And the small touches, like auto-fixing bugs, actually saved me a lot of time (and stress). Excellent work, Rohan and team. Feels like something made by people who know the pain of building things from scratch.

Wow Rohan! Building an app never was so easy. Happy to see this level of solution and wish you all the best here!

Really love what you’ve built here @rohan_singhvi1 @prakhar_tandon_1 ! The local-first approach is smart. Excited to try this out on a few projects!

congratulations team!!

What is the difference between that and Lovable? Why should I have my data stored locally when building apps?
Prakhar Tandon
Hey @gabriel_nasser, the local-first thing gives you privacy and more control over your data. Lovable is good for simpler usecases, while we focus on doing complex tasks with minimal prompts. Thanks!

Since all data and processing happen locally in the browser, how do you ensure good performance for users with different device capabilities?

Prakhar Tandon
Hey @vouchy, 8 GB Ram is good enough to run Alpha smoothly. The in-browser code environment, message processing & storage happens locally, while LLM workload is on the cloud. Thanks!

I built a whole fitness app with just 1 prompt. So cool!
Prakhar Tandon
@noahfromgoa That's great, do share the deployment link here too! Thanks!

🚀 Provocative Technical Challenge

Local-first AI builder? Bold. Let's test these privacy claims:

1. Offline-First Reality Check

- Can I truly build a full app on a 12-hour flight with:

✈️ No WiFi

🔋 20% battery

😤 My last 3 brain cells?

2. Data Leak Test

- If I `console.log` during dev, where do traces go?

- Prove ZERO calls to external APIs when offline

3. Mobile Performance

- Will this drain my iPhone battery faster than:

🎮 Genshin Impact

🔥 My ex's drama

💀 My will to live?

As someone who found 'local storage' in 5 'private' tools... I'll believe it when I `tcpdump` it. #TrustButVerify

Mike Staub

These claims of privacy are baseless unless the code is fully open source.

Prakhar Tandon
Hey @mikestaub, while I understand the context behind your opinions, and as an engineer support it too, but we're working on a couple of things simultaneously and we feel keeping Alpha closed source for now is the best way to go for us. "Local First" means that we're storing all your chats and data only on your browser. Moreover, for our enterprise customers, we provide an on-prem solution with a on-prem/cloud LLM on their infra. Do try it out and lmk your feedback. Thanks!
