is there a video demo?

Avior

@ipearl Hi,

It's a bit outdated, but yes

Tod

Congrats, looks very clean. Does it work on a monitor?

Avior

@tteer Hi

Yes

Dev Grover

Love the focus on improving notifications here. Multi-line replies and quick reactions sound really handy to me as well. Maybe filters or smart grouping for notifications could be a nice addition too.

Congrats on the launch

Avior

@grover___dev Hi,
Thanks for tip

Philipp
I remember the times when jokes where made about the notch but I love how creative it is used for notifications and other topics. Really nice.

Great tool! Love the Dynamic Island experience on Mac.

@maxwell_timothy Hi,
Glad you like DynamicLake

DynamicLake is such a cool concept! Personally, whenever I'm working on my macbook, I still keep my phone close solely to see my lock screen notifications, but with DL, I like being able to see everything right in the middle of my screen instead of having my messages icon jump out from the bottom of the screen for notifications. The video tutorial/demo does the best to show what the app does overall.

I like the idea. Wanted something on the notch for a long time. But 17 dollars subscription seems exessive. How does it provide same value as claude

Avior

@sangitakulkarni Hi,

The price is a one-time lifetime purchase, not a subscription. It’s normally $14.90, and with the current 15% discount, it comes to about $12.50

The multi-app notification consolidation is what really stands out here - having iMessage, WhatsApp, Telegram, and Slack all flowing through one native Dynamic Island interface eliminates the constant context-switching that kills productivity on Mac. The drag and drop support is a clever touch too. Curious about the notification prioritization logic - when multiple apps fire simultaneously, how does DynamicLake decide what surfaces first? And does the Live Activities feature support third-party app integrations beyond the built-in ones? Congrats on the #1 launch!

Is there any way to try your app before I buy it?

Also, what kind of user permissions does this need in order to run properly?

Avior

@patrickpetcejj Hi

There is no free trial at this moment.

Permission required is accessibility for media keys

iMessage notifications required full disk permission all other nothing

Alex

Great idea! Dynamic Island on Mac feels very natural.

How's the performance impact on older MacBooks?

Avior

@alex_calderon_trujillo Hi,
I’m not sure what you consider an old MacBook, but up until version 1.5 the app was developed on a 2015 MacBook Pro :)
