I fell in love with this product as soon as I tried it. Used it for the trial, and I just bought it. Great deal!

I have literally tried most of the major DAM products out there... Eagle is simple yet powerful, elegant and well-crafted, and unlike competitors, it updates often. On top of it all, it is affordable. Only caveats: Support is lacking (they did not answer my questions via email) and I miss cloud storage (you can use iCloud though) and collaborative capabilities. Suitable for individual portfolio only (for teams I suggest Llingoapp.com)

@david_gomez_rosado Hi David, Thank you for using Eagle! We have received and are very grateful for your feedback. I'd like to apologize if our customer support have not met your expectations. Previously we are only one man's team in marketing, development and support, some messages and emails may have been missed or delayed. We understand how frustrated you must be. I know the apologies came late but I still want to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience our customer support may have caused you over the years. Secondly, to answer your concern for cloud storage, we would like to clarify that Eagle is a local based application, everything you saved into Eagle is stored in the hard disk drive of your device, hence, please back up the whole library properly to prevent damage to the data or exceptions, especially when you're about to make changes to the library. For more information about backup, please refer: How to back up images saved by Eagle? πŸ‘‰πŸ» https://docs-en.eagle.cool/artic... Once you have the library backed up, you could then try the following step to sync library on multiple devices: πŸ“Sync through 3rd party sync services: You could sync the library on multiple devices by uploading the whole library folder (OOO.library) to the client of cloud sync services (i.e. Dropbox, Google Drive). Be sure to utilize the services you're familiar with. πŸ“ Store the library in portable storage Store the library folder (OOO.library) in the portable storage (i.e. USB drive) for easier accessibility over multiple devices. When Syncing, the following points should be noted: Syncing via cloud sync services: The Library must exist in the local directory to be read by Eagle, hence, in order to keep file consistency when syncing over multiple devices, please make sure that Device A has successfully uploaded the library folder, Device B has successfully downloaded the library folder. Syncing via Portable storages: While Eagle can function on Windows and macOS, please be aware that the format of the hard disk may inflict issues due to system compatibility. Please refer to the following articles: πŸ‘‰πŸ» My libraries are saved in portable storage and can't be used on both Windows and macOS https://docs-en.eagle.cool/artic... πŸ‘‰πŸ» Using Tuxera NTFS on macOS causes the library to be unreadable https://docs-en.eagle.cool/artic... Lastly to answer your concern for collaborative capabilities with teams, As Eagle is a local-based image organizer. It doesn't have its own cloud sync service. Based on the user's privacy, Eagle will not upload the user's files to any server to save or backup. We do have considered the compatibility with the Cloud Sync services, the Eagle's library adopts the conventional folder structure, hence it would be no problem to share libraries through the Cloud Sync services. With that being said, Eagle is not a co-editing tool after all, if accessed and edited by multiple users, let's say 3 people were editing tags to the images in the same library, it could still be quite faulty, hence, please make sure the following: πŸ“ That everyone in your team are using the same Version/Build of Eagle, so the new features can be fully functional among the team. πŸ“ Avoid co-editing to the same assets simultaneously (This includes change categories, add tags, rename, etc.), otherwise, it could lead to: 1. Data Inconsistencies 2. Create multiple conflicted files Since most of the sync services will detect file changes and will sync to all connected devices automatically. If multiple changes occurred at the same time, only the last changes will be recorded. Due to this, we don't recommend using Eagle as a co-editing tool, at the end of the day, Eagle can still outperform in regard to asset managing/organizing. Hope I've made this understandable, if there is anything you'd like to know about Eagle, don't hesitate to let us know! Thank youπŸ™‡πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ™πŸ»

App is awesome! Really awesome! Not using it much but love it as assets for one project by collecting :D The only thing I'm missing is some ai object recognition may be using some google cloud api and its AutoML Vision Object Detection for everyone to be able to connect to it and pay as you go :D

@konstantin_fedorov Hi Konstantin, Thank you for using Eagle! We have received and are very grateful for your feedback. Although ai object recognition is not yet implemented, we think this is definitely a very good idea! I will bring the proposed idea to the dev team and see what we can do, and keep you updated if we have any news on this. If you still have questions or new feature ideas please send us a message via or tweet us @eagle_app to let us know! Thank you for your support!!πŸ™ŒπŸ»

I've been looking for an app to replace Inboard app as the app is old and no features been released. Eagle is a game changer I hope the devs keep working on it for the long-term cuz I'm all in with Eagle!
GJ
Cool, are you planning to integrate with Figma?
Angel Wang
@gertjanwilde Hi GJ, I apologize for the late reply! Our macOS version already supports the Figma format, which can be imported and previewed directly. Unfortunately, our Windows version does not support Figma format preview currently, however Figma format still can be imported and managed (add tags, categories, etc.). I will bring the proposed idea to the dev team and see what we can do, and keep you updated if we have any news on this. If you still have questions please send us a message via service@eagle.cool or tweet us @eagle_app to let us know! Thank you for your support!!πŸ™ŒπŸ»
