Emma 2.0 🇺🇸🇨🇦 - Your Best Financial Friend just landed in North America

Spoke to Edoardo months back and really loved his enthusiasm for Emma, always hearing people say great things too, super pleased about this expansion guys, congrats and can’t wait to see the future!

I've discovered this app a month ago and it completely changed my life!

Emma is my go-to app for all things money management, I've been a user of the app for over a year and it's changed my view and management of my finances. I'm now at last ahead of plan for paying back credit/debt, purely because I have a more complete view of my financial situation. Of course there's a few features I'd like to see in Emma and will at some point add to their community, but it's nothing that is actually a 'deal-breaker'. When I have had an idea, bug or query in the past, the chaps and chapesses at Emma have always been great handling them, it's a super responsive and efficient team. Updates and features are pumped out regularly and if there's ever an issue (e.g. service), it gets communicated out by the delightfully GIF happy folks on Twitter. (Major things/features are communicated via email as standard). I find it quicker and easier to now log into Emma and (if necessary) refresh balances, rather than logging into my banks app direct! No hesitations recommending Emma to friends and family.

Pros:

Clean and easy interface Great product and customer support It just works and it does what they say it will do

Cons:

Some finance institutes missing, but largely the fault of older/less open FIs rather than Emma.

Could not recommend more

Emma is super good - easy to plug in, good notifications, amazing UI, a gem of an app.

Congrats on the North America launch! I love all the little UI touches throughout the onboarding experience, very excited to finally be able use the app :)

The primary feature is all about budgeting and tracking expenses, and this is where the service really shines. Budgeting is super easy to set up: After downloading and connecting your account and syncing your transactions, they will get categorised into predefined categories. The nudges, the reports and visibility of all the transactions in almost all of your accounts (including savings and investments). They even have crypto currency tracking. Not exactly a con, but a requested feature is to have a shares/stocks portfolio. With the staff being very open and also responsive, I am sure this will be in their list of to-dos. A wonderful and convenient app and definitely much better than your traditional banking app.

Cons:

Missing managing shares/stocks portfolio.

I’m very excited to see European companies making international consumer products. Without any doubt, I can safely bet that Emma is going to become the world leader! I really can’t recommend it more. Keep up the amazing work!
