We're celebrating 1 million learners by announcing a big upgrade to the Enki app!
Now not only for devs, but also marketing, product, data, ops, finance professionals. Access any of the curriculum instantly. And completely new design!
Very excited about this update!😃
I loved Enki 1.0 and had a record streak of about 90 at some point!
However the app became unusable, riddled with bugs.. didn't save progress, the algorithm was repeating questions etc. so I stopped using it (this was 2-3 years ago).
But guess what?
I just downloaded the App again.. I always enjoyed the real actionable insights and easy way to learn on the go!👌Great stuff!
I used this daily. Really love it since the last UX update a little while back

Can’t recommend this enough! Enki 1.0 revolutionised the game when it came to honing my dev skills; very excited to play with the new and improved version! Thanks Guys!
@dmakh lol of course you can't recommend this enough because you're my brother. but even more lol because it's true 😘

I hate it when you can learn nothing of substance from the website for an app without actually downloading the app. No screenshots, no videos, not even a description of expected functionality or an obvious call to action other than 'download the app!'. And no, I do not want to talk to your sales team. Like... why should I? Your website gives me absolutely zero reason to do so. Bold claims backed only by testimonials and client logos are hard to verify and tell me absolutely nothing about your product. It's a terrible way to communicate to a potential customer, and startups always do this, and it's no wonder why they spend so much money on targeted ads on social media.
I try not to use my phone very often because they are specifically NOT secure devices, and not trustworthy. It should go without saying, but many seem to forget it, if a company tries to make you download an app for your phone, especially if they aren't charging you for it, you are not the customer here. Your data is being pulled and used elsewhere. Any company that claims that they aren't doing so could absolutely be lying and you'd never know for sure because there's really no part of the app ecosystem that is transparent enough to ensure end-to-end information security.

@hunter_trujillo "if a company tries to make you download an app for your phone, especially if they aren't charging you for it, you are not the customer here. Your data is being pulled and used elsewhere. "
That's not always true. If it's early in the product trajectory, they may not have got to the features which are going to be paid features. They may be waiting to build up a big user base before they offer a higher level of service or have not yet written those features.
That is certainly the case for our app (Touchgram) which has multiple paths to monetisation with added value tools and resources coming in 2020. So as a fellow-founder, I'm a little more generous in judging why an app may be free.
I agree the Enki website is a little low on details and demos of what it's like to use it.

If I’m just at the beginning, is this app suitable for me? It looks wonderful!!!

I really like and use enki for already a year now. I think the only missing piece is the web app. It is really hard to get excited about some new pice of info and try it on the phone. Are there any plans for the web app ?
