I still use Evernote pretty regularly. Glad to see the new owners haven't abandoned ship (yet).
I used to love Evernote. But they just lost their momentum. Now they are long-gone, I personally don't think of coming back to it.

I used to really love Evernote, in part because there was nothing comparable to it. I'm interested to see what Evernote can do now that improves my workflow, though I'll be honest, that's a long hill to climb.
The question I really have now is, why should I switch from my current workflow to Evernote? What's unique?

You have taken a wonderful product just to turn it into a very expensive subscription with nothing to justify the price hike, and kept it like this so long that is not relevant anymore.
I'm grateful for what you did to be fair; with your actions I migrated all my notes off from your platform to Markdown. Now I'm free of any products that hold my notes hostage in its proprietary platform.
