This studio going to ease developer time to focus on solving core business problems rather worrying about API design complexities. Is there a roadmap to deploy as plugin in IDEs to generate API design and deployments? This is something like Figma Relay design UI templates but for API designs 😍

@ranjith_ragavan You are spot on. Figma for API Visual studio plugin is in the roadmap rather way later in the roadmap. The struggle has been should we focus on Product Managers or should we focus on DevEx. While we love Dev and care for DevEx more, we believe Product Managers are left out of API design. We believe every Product Manager is an innovator. Thanks to Figma fueling creator economy. We want to fuel the creator economy with API in the context. Thank you for the feedback

I went through the demo videos on the platform and it looks so convenient for a developer to design and modify APIs using your platform. What all databases can be connected with Conektto for API designing apart from SQL databases?

The 3 relational DB that we support today are SQL Server, Postgress and MySQL. In regards to no-sql, we support MongoDB. Hi Product Hunt, Excited to launch our API Design Studio today! APIs have been in the existence for last 20+ years. There are 200 million APIs exist and 1.5 billion new APIs to be built in the next 8 years. Yet, the process of designing, coding and testing APIs is still in the legacy. Our intent was to create a platform that can empower Product Managers to design API without needing Ph.D. in JSON or YAML or API standards. We are in a different world where B2B integrations rely heavily on APIs. There are tools that exist that are either hosted solutions or too developer-centric. We believe B2B space has a ton of potential to unlock and Product Management needs to be the tip of the spear leading integrations that matter for customers, users, and partners. Additionally, product managers are required to work across several stakeholders in engineering and operations that are constantly operationalizing APIs like developers, DevOps, Architects, SRE, Release engineers, and Performance / Security experts. Not everyone is a skilled business user that understands the nuances of API, integration, and the value of data. Additionally, it takes several steps and a ton of time to get repeatable ideation to implementation done. We were looking for a product that supports: ✅ Collaborative innovation ✅ Friendly and intuitive for different types of stakeholders (refer above) ✅ Intelligent with governance and standards ✅ A completely modern API development platform None existed, and hence we built Conektto, the API-First Design and Test Platform. The only platform in the industry that can empower Product Managers to design API, collaborate with developers, and testers to auto-generate mock, tests, test execution, test data, performance tests, and report results - Zero-touch for Data provider APIs. With today's launch, we add MongoDB, SQL Server, Postgres and MySQL-based data provider API design with the ability to design complex API business logic by abstracting the metadata behind it. Additionally, we are introducing a free format API designer so you can product managers can create OpenAPI specs to communicate with Developers. We have a ton of new stuff in our pipeline including the ability to build composite / aggregate API design, and GraphQL capabilities as well as our partnership with Microsoft PowerFx started in October 2022 for OpenAI based 100% production-ready code generation. I am super excited about all the features and benefits that Conektto brings to the forefront including the ease of design for API's specially the curent integration with databases, the free format API for non developers and the soon to be composite / aggregate API development. We have so many design plans with multiple external and internal API's and this new functionality will be a game changer, as it will ease the pain and accelerate the development of these API's while being able to manage hundred's of tables in multiple databases with much more precison and less re-work! The ease of documenting and being able to conveny in an easy and consistant manner to developers from a management/business perspective - visually and with the tangible existing and to be created databases/tables and integrations into external APIS' is is specially welcoming. You have a ways to go with the documentation, but it appears you are well aware of this need and are speedily progressing to make it even easier and more intuitive to use your app. Thanks again and wishing you tremendouls success!

@bhaskar_bhasker Bhasker, thank you. NodeJS and Python are in our roadmap. We are also working on integration with ChatGPT through Microsoft PowerFX which is in the works. We forked into PowerFX 3 months ago and working closely with Microsoft team on the integration with Language server protocol. More updates coming soon on that.
