We are the makers of Fabio AI Chatbot, a WordPress plugin powered by OpenAI ChatGPT Luna 5.6 through the API.

I wanted to share some real numbers from the last 30 days:

• 371 requests

• ~3.7M tokens

• $1.04 total API cost

That's about $0.003 per conversation.

My takeaway: API costs are rarely the real barrier to adding an AI chatbot to a website. Setup and ease of use matter far more.
