I am actually afraid to even login in it. Facebook is way to invasive. I am using slack in my company now and will do in the future.

I feel like I just got another option that I didn't need. I already have to pick ONE tool to keep the company standardized.

Slack works too damn well, what's the point in changing?

Interesting... looks like they are trying to bridge the connection between private and business/work life. @visiplevc

If I could downvote this I would. I find it typical facebook, unimaginative copycat half baked me too platform.

Nobody likes Office Social Media. I have been at several major companies who have even given out hundreds of dollars in incentives for employees to use it and no one will even touch it. Yammer is terrible. Also, I don't see most companies, who are risk- and innovation- averse, ever adopting something like Facebook Work when Facebook is (insanely) blocked in their network.
A cleaner and more usable version of Microsoft SharePoint? 😅

Never understood why Google didn't morph G+ into something like this. If your company is already using Gmail, Drive, Docs, etc. it seems logical to link into a network with everyone in the company. They do allow some version of this but they never applied enough controls. For instance, there was never a way to restrict employees from posting to all of G+, nor even set it to default to your company's Community.
Personally I find these kind of spaces to be borderline useless if they don't enable well-done direct messaging but at least FB has that, unlike Yammer.

So this is just white-label Facebook. This is a Yammer competitor, not a Slack competitor.
