The product, the customer support, the transparency of the dev timeline, the all-in-oneness of the product, tutorials, community and more .... a truly unique and wonderful approach to a product and its users!

Pros:

Design MAGIC for non-designers ... including templates from seriously GREAT DEsigners and help from the amazingly supportive community!

Cons:

No real cons. Some features are upcoming but the Famous Team is cranking them out every week!

@stevenewcomb Steve, can you talk a little about the God mode you mentioned? How does the morphing work in general, for example?
Steve Newcomb
@jim_moses ooooh. I can't wait for God Mode. What God Mode does is it lets people create their own animation presets and it will include - WebGL with DOM (which if you are not technical means AfterEffects-ish animation capabilities) and it also includes a - 3D Physics Animation Engine (so think super juicy animations) and it also includes - the ability to swap between Clip/Rack animations and Keyframe based animations. In particular, Morphing - you can select two unrelated layers (say an image of me and an image of you) where my image is in State 1 and your image is in State 2 and then you can link those layers as part of an animation sequence that can be either time-based, or finger position based and can utilize animation curves or 3D physics. I hope that was an ok answer, I know it's a lot, but there you have it. For those who are reading this but haven't seen the God Mode preview - you can check it out here -

Famous Studio (Beta) is a promising gem that will literally influence and change not only the "game" but the digital industry mindset about digital designers relationship process between prototyping and pushing live as a web app, with a growing engineering ecosystem and engineers that got your back. That said, the perfect direct and transparent relationship with a company like Famous as a user is the key for the upcoming future. I've never experienced an Alpha and Beta testing like this in almost 10 years as a digital designer. It is an honor for being an early Alpha user with an inspiring team and Alpha mates. Surely worth a meaningful test with Famous team and its community is a really exceptional experience!

Pros:

A meaningful vision and materialization of a progressive web app ecosystem.

Cons:

For the short term I'de love to see scrollable areas feature, dynamic content integration, and widgets library.

Hey Steve. I took Famous for a spin and wanted some questions answered about the upcoming components market. My email went unanswered though.
Steve Newcomb
@andupotorac my bad, just email it to me again at steve@famous.co
