Faraday - The tidiest, smartest, most stunning email client ever built

Faraday is the first email client in the world that's promptlessly intelligent, incomparably organised, aware, secure, and visually striking. Built from the ground up, it truly addresses the multitude of issues email has always grappled with - clutter, disarray, fatigue. Not another email composer or summarization plugin. Genuinely, a first in five decades of email. You'll quite like it :)

Hello! We are so happy to be introducing Faraday to all of you today 🙂

I'm quite excited (and also a tad apprehensive) to share our story:

It all started with email. I was steered by my own annoyances with it.

The fact that it remains unorganized, cluttered, and fatiguing even today, became unacceptable.

Even the "modern" clients today simply put our emails in a table, support a few keyboard shortcuts, a few simple features, and are done. The newer ones provide AI-based compose assist, and the newest ones now want us to prompt for each email. Chat for everything. Ugh!

There is still no higher order classification, no deeper grouping. Every email — a project update, a transaction, a human message — appears the same. Key attachments are always elusive when needed. Trivial auto-updates crowd us, and long forwarded threads are still painful to follow with the untidy nature of their chaining.

We therefore set out to build Faraday with 3 principles: First, user centricity is paramount, above all else. Second, there needs to be a fundamental entrenchment with AI. No mere gimmicks. And third, develop with first principles. Not borrowing from what has already been, but what can be. At each step.

The result: A refreshingly original client incomparable to any other.

Faraday auto-processes, classifies, infers, and re-presents every email for its highest utility. Hierarchically reconstructs and resolves each thread for the first time in the world. Pushes out every redundant, repetitive implementation with far more intuitive solutions. It is a client that is remarkably organized, promptlessly intelligent and visually striking

Meanwhile, we also ensured that we are privacy-first, doubling down on the best possible security and encryption standards from Day 2 itself, delivering a highly secure product today🔒

We ended up devising enough technical innovations along the way to have even filed patents for them!
We essentially built Faraday with a lot of love and critical thinking. We hope you really like it🙂

Works with all Gmail, Google Workspace and Outlook accounts. Accessible on all desktop/laptop browsers currently, and launching today with a highly competitive price, along with a free 2-week trial for the entire Product Hunt family!

So go ahead, sign in at https://faraday.email, and tell me all your thoughts and experiences. I'm here all day to listen and respond to each of them!

And ofcourse, this is just the beginning🙂

Andrius

@neerajnathany i keep waiting to find the annoying thing about it and i haven't yet. And I am a nitpick guy! Good sign

Neeraj Nathany

@andrius_ Haha, we let the annoyances remain in the incumbents:)

Anneliese Niebauer

@neerajnathany congrats on this launch. Beautiful product. how do you guys help with overall reducing email? like is there any smart unsubscribe support?

Neeraj Nathany

@anneliese Yes! You get to not only see all recent emails from one brand/company together, but also unsubscribe to them in one click. Won't even need to open an email:)

Aviral Bhatnagar

@neerajnathany what a crazy launch video - been a big user of the product till date! Excited to see this go live

Neeraj Nathany

@aviralbhatnagar Haha thanks! No AI agents were harmed in making that video:)

Abhishek Bansal

Besides the gorgeous beauty it is, the privacy stuff also matters more to me than i expected it to. Glad you made that a priority, a lot of teams don't bother...

Neeraj Nathany

@abhishek_bansal06 it was baked in right from the onset, not as a merely necessary compliance:)

Edric Aspen

Ok this is actually seriously good. was ready to be disappointed ngl

Neeraj Nathany

@aspen_edric Glad to have turned your opinion 180 degrees around:)

Anjali Bansal

Ok the categorization is genuinely freaky accurate. how?!

Neeraj Nathany

@anjali_bansal3 Haha, purely by a very clever orchestration of various processes. Leads to very high efficacy:)

Rashi Sharma

not gonna lie, i’ve tried a lot of tools like this. this one feels different

Neeraj Nathany

@rashi_sharma13 It is indeed significantly different:)

Knight Warrior

this somehow made my inbox feel less chaotic?? didn’t think that was possible

Neeraj Nathany

@knight_warrior It truly was always possible. There was actually a lack of intent and effort towards this.

Mohd Amaan Khan

this cleaned up my inbox faster than i thought possible

Neeraj Nathany

@mohd_amaan_khan1 It has particularly become faster since the last 4 days:)

Besides the gorgeous beauty it is, the privacy stuff also matters more to me than i expected it to. Glad you made that a priority, a lot of teams don't bother....

Neeraj Nathany

@abhishek_bansal_tester There is no good product possible without the highest regards to a user's security and privacy:)

this is way smoother than i thought it would be tbh....

Neeraj Nathany

@aditya_kaushik_08 The concurrency practices we have implemented are next to none!
