Fewsats lets AI agents make payments without breaking flow. It handles transactions between AI systems and services with human oversight and budget controls, while keeping financial credentials secure. No redirects, no context switching—it just works.
We built Fewsats to solve a fundamental problem in the AI stack: payments. When agents need premium data or services, they hit a wall. Our Python SDK integrates with MCP to handle payment flows while maintaining security guardrails.
This is just the beginning—we're building for a future where AI agents will handle millions of micro-transactions on our behalf, creating entirely new economic possibilities.
Try it out with our Python or TypeScript SDKs, or through our MCP integration. We'd love to hear about your use cases or discuss the future of AI payments in our Discord (discord.gg/2tPYBgWzQm).

Fewsats is redefining microtransactions for AI agents! It is 'paying' the way for a new era in AI transactions! 💸 Enabling AI to request payments without direct wallet access is a clever way to balance automation with security. How does Fewsats prevent unauthorized transactions or replay attacks when AI agents initiate payments? Are there cryptographic signatures or time-based authentication mechanisms in place to ensure integrity?
@faizanjan_ AI agents need to have their own api key to be authorized to do anything. In addition to that, the user can set up spending policies for each key, like requiring confirmation for every transaction over a given amount or a maximum budget. That way we provide all the security of token-based auth for each agent plus extra safety in the form of policies. Moreover, L402 offers can never be paid twice so double spending is not supported.
I've known Jordi for a while and I can say that he's probably the world's best thinker and entrepreneur at the intersection of Bitcoin + AI :) Really looking forward to how fewsats goes forward.
Innovative approach to addressing a fundamental issue in the AI stack! The integration of AI payments with security guardrails is impressive. Looking forward to seeing how this evolves.
Fewsats seems like a great solution to streamline payment flows and simplify transactions in complex systems, especially with the added security. How do you envision this working for industries outside of tech, like retail or services, where smaller payments play a big role?
@jonurbonas industries where smaller payment play a big role will greatly benefit from fewsats. Thanks to our tech there's no minimum amount of money per transaction. We are currently working on showcasing the tech for shopify and similar storefronts. Do you know someone who might be interested? any particular use case?
@pol_avec Can you please explain how this works? I’d like to understand the logic behind calculating the pricing of an AI agent. An agent includes many components, such as LLM server costs and various other factors. How do you approach pricing in such cases?
Congratulations on the launch
@waseem_panhwer we leverage the L402 protocol to provide payment rails for AI agents. We do not run the agents themselves (although we have an example where we do it too at sherlockdomains.com). We make it easy for people running agents to pay for services and for people offering services to sell them to AI agents.

This sounds like a game-changer for AI-driven transactions! The ability for AI agents to make seamless payments without disrupting workflow, while maintaining security and human oversight, is a huge step forward. Streamlining payments without context switching is exactly what’s needed to enhance automation and efficiency. Excited to see how Fewsats evolves! Also, innovations like these remind me of how platforms such as subwaymenu enhance user convenience in their own unique ways.

Interesting mix. Whats the deal with AI? Why its different from any other type of products in terms of payments?
Fewsats
@goshatirov I would say mainly three things:
Built on top of an open protocol called L402, which means that you are buying into a full ecosystem not just a company.
Works with any payment method, from ACH/Wire, to Credit cards and crypto.
Works with micropayments (<$0.01) out of the box. Really useful for AI Agents

Another world for AI space for transaction ease.
