@maxcameron Killer idea and congrats on the launch. As someone who spent YEARS in the recruitment space I always thought about ways to scale exit interviews and also really thought a lot about interviewing folks who interact with our products and services (I know recruitment interviews are much different but the 1 to 1 interview premise is the same) automation tools to get this data that is often lost forever is really cool!

Hi @maxcameron. sounds super cool. signed up and got stuck with uploading a transcript. I have loads of recoded conversations I wanted to test fforward with, but transcribing seems to be a friction. any thoughts supporting upload of entire videos for fforward to transcribe? Thanks!

@omeryarkowich it’s on our radar for sure. Join our Slack and we can help you make some transcripts from those recordings.

Launch Day is Finally Here! 🤗 We’re Max, Cam and Jon, the founders of fforward.ai, and we’ve made it 10x easier to analyze customer interviews. If you’re a product manager, product designer or startup founder, we hope you’ll give it a shot. We need your feedback and ideas so we can further improve the product. Why did we build fforward? We built fforward to help you decide what to build next, so you can build a product people love. Customer interviews give us the evidence we need to make good decisions and build products people love. But analyzing customer interviews takes forever, and we have lots of other things to do. Over the past six months, we’ve interviewed over 150 PMs, UX researchers and startup founders to understand how they analyze customer interviews and use those insights to make great product decisions. We built fforward so any product team can reveal insights in customer interviews, uncover themes across all of your interviews, and discover opportunities for your product roadmap. Here’s how it works: ✅ Upload your interview transcripts to fforward and let fforward handle the rest ✅ fforward will automatically pull out user needs and opportunities from your customer interviews ✅ fforward will tell you why each opportunity is relevant to your product and give it a quality score ✅ fforward will find common themes across groups of interviews You can use these themes to: 💡 Prioritize your roadmap based on real evidence, not just intuition. 💡 Generate new solution concepts based on hidden opportunities. 💡 Facilitate conversations with product stakeholders Our ask from you today We’re thrilled to share fforward with you today, and to celebrate, we’re giving every product hunt user three free interview credits. In return, we would love your feedback so we can continue to improve the product and build a helpful tool that people love. Please share your comments and feedback here in the comments! We also want to thank the product hunt community for inspiring us to get up and work hard every day. Seeing all of you launch so many amazing products every day motivates us to keep going, even when things are tough. Onwards!

How does fforward integrate with existing research platforms like DScout?
Cameron Westland
@sanjaygodara our biggest value add lies in unbiased opportunity identification from transcripts. We then take those opportunities and cluster them and identify themes. DScout can help you by recruiting more interviews, after that we can take over and help you analyze them easier!

Awesome product! I've found my self manually reading interviews, extracting relevant parts, tagging them and writing them in notion. So when it was time to do some ideation I could easily check all that info easy. But it took hours!! I'll give it a try soon. Congrats
Cameron Westland
@daniel_martinez19 yes! That's exactly my experience as well.
