This looks like a great way to learn about designing apps. The only downside I see is that many designs will look the same if designers just follow templates.

Don't get me wrong, templates are great to kickstart projects.

Wow - from the blurb, I thought you'd figured out a way to go from flat screenshots of apps to editable Figma designs (with AI, machine learning, or something). The fact that you did "something that doesn't scale" as Paul Graham would say, and just went on a major sprint to do these by hand is inspiring. I'm sure your design team has gotten crazy good and fast at Figma through this exercise! I didn't see a roadmap or way to tell how frequently you release new content and how many designs you release each time. Regardless, well done!

@alexcue Hey Alex, thanks for your comment. We did automate some parts of the design process, but yes there was a lot of manual effort that went into designing the final screens. Yes, we went on a full design sprint, and are lucky to have some of the best designers on onboard. We'll be launching interfaces of some well-designed products every other week.

Wow! Seems like a very cool product, How well does it work with niche apps?
Moksh Garg
@ekka Thanks for your comment! All the editable designs are quite accurate and match the screenshots shown. Only in some cases, premium fonts are substituted with the closest match from Google Fonts. We'll be adding more apps every other week.
