@andrewthezhou We are trying to get Fluent to a point where it makes you conversational. You should be able to walk around and use the language without anxiety. The features we need to support this are in the works, should be weeks, not months before they're out.

It has been so inspiring to watch the Fluent team relentlessly iterate on their vision for an amazing language learning experience. While I wish everyone reading this could know how amazing Gavin, Ara, Yaniv, and Olga are on a personal level, it is clear that their product reflects the values and drive they espouse themselves. @simoelalj Yes - to add on, how do you make money? A business that doesn't ask for payment or make it obvious how it makes money means I'm the product or maybe my data is. However your privacy policy is very clear: > We will never sell, rent, or other wise share your personal information, with or without personally identifying information. Furthermore, we will never share anonymized selections of your individual data. But is there something else that you're selling?

An updated review 3 weeks later. I continue to use it and it love that as I continue to surf the web, I am learning more words. Not entirely sure how much of this will translate getting a grasp over the language, but I definitely feel more comfortable with words. Also a big plus point - it does't feel like an event where I have to start a "training session".
