I found myself constantly jumping between different sites when trying to understand the full picture. So I started building something that organised it all more clearly. World Football Database is an attempt to create a structured, visual way to explore the world of football data. It connects clubs, competitions, seasons, and players so you can explore the sport’s history and structure more easily. One of the things I enjoy most about football is how interconnected everything is. A club’s history connects to leagues, leagues connect to competitions, competitions connect to decades of players and stories. This project is about making those connections easier to explore. It’s still growing and will continue expanding with more clubs, competitions, and historical data.
