Gadget - The fastest way to build and scale apps with AI

Thank you for building Gadget, and taking care of infra and auth out of the box, so developers like me can focus on solving real world problems. Congratulations on the launch! I'm excited to give this a spin.

I’ve been using Gadget for over 3 years, and it’s become my go-to platform for building Shopify apps. When I was first getting into app development, I didn’t want to spend weeks wrangling infrastructure, auth, or API scaffolding—I just wanted to build something useful. Gadget gave me a fully working dev environment out of the box, with Shopify integration, database, file storage, access control, and a proper backend I could write real code in.

It’s now the backbone of Aww! Commerce—a virtual pet game that lives inside the Shopify admin. It’s the first game built for Shopify merchants!

What’s kept me around is the team. Huge shoutout to Mohammad, Antoine, Kyle, Emma, and co, who’ve been consistently helpful, responsive, and open to feedback. There’s a real sense that they care about the dev experience and the success of the apps being built on their platform.

Congrats on the launch—excited to see how Gadget continues to evolve from here.
