Hi Makers!
This thread is dedicated to you if you are:
(1) launching soon or recently launched
(2) looking for beta users
(3) asking for feedback on a landing page
First, start by helping out another maker. You can check out their launch, give their product a review or share a comment on their launch post.
Once you've helped someone else out, share your product link here and BE SPECIFIC about who your target audience is and how we can help. ππ½

Hi, and thank you for your post!
We've been building [Insights](https://getinsights.io), a privacy-focused analytics platform focused on developers. We will be doing a soft release this week, but before that happens I figured I'd post here to see if anybody has any feedback, questions, or would like to try out the tool!
Report
@henrique_spotorno I've been looking for a tool like this for a long time. I like where you're going with it. But is the EU within your target audience? If so, you should definitely make it clearer that the tool is GDPR-friendly. I saw the 'no GDPR issues' mention but I think you need to feature it more prominently. I missed it on my first skim through the page and found it through CTRL+F.
Report
@adriana_tica Thanks for the feedback! We will make it more prominent on our page. Insights is GDPR-friendly, users don't even need to add a cookie banner to their website!
Report
@henrique_spotorno Awesome! Just asked our developer to review it and see if we can add it to our website.

@henrique_spotorno That looks great. I'll most probably try it out in a day or two. A couple of points about the landing page though:
1. the lack of left margin makes it look weird on a big screen, it's all stuck on the left and leaves a huge empty space on the right except the pictures so it feels a bit empty.
2. The sign-up button on the top-right might be better in white hover orange instead of blue hover orange, it looks like a missing css class right now.
I'm really looking forward to using it!
Report
@emmanuelhadoux Thanks a lot for the feedback! We should use centered containers for the different sections. As for the sign-up button, it's definitely a bug.
If you do try it out, let me know what you think! And feel free to reach out with any questions, suggestions, or complaints you might have. :)
@kadukeitor Just checked it out! I liked the design a lot. Unfortunately had a problem when I tried to sign up.
Report
@kadukeitor Looks great and I love the idea. Here's what I would add:
1. A 'How it works' section on homepage, before the 'why it works' -- it's a bit 'carriage before horse' to explain why it works when the reader doesn't know HOW it works yet.
2. A blog section. You have TONS of opportunities to write about productivity here -- an to rank for long-tail keywords.
@awt I like how you just make it to the point with images and a few headlines, sometimes you don't need more than that.
I personally don't like the font and feel that a better font would make this stand out a LOT more since you have few content.
I would also use a placeholder for a new device to give a sense of cutting edge. The current phone placeholder may make people think the app is old.
I'm currently working on a writing application which makes writing complex documents easy. It aims to be usable for scholar writings and affordable for students. It's not officially launched yet but I would like to have some feedback for the logo and the tag line.
The tag line is: "Complex Writing Made Simple - for Ideas Which Are Than Bold".
The logo can be found in the upper left corner of https://www.producthunt.com/upco...
Im also looking for some early beta users. If you are interested, subscribe in the link above.
Thank you for your time,
Oliver
@ebrahimkhalil you can insert cross references to images, tables, code-blocks or sections that you have in your document. You can also insert a reference to a book or article. When you export your writing, a bibliography will be generated for you.
Support for connecting to an external reference manager is not yet provided. What do you think how important it is?
@oliver_wolf - That is a good question. For me, I have literally years worth of references in Zotero and Mendelay. For people like me switching to an application is always limited because of my need for these apps to cite accurately. In addition, I keep both apps because some teams use Zotero and others Mendelay. Too answer the question, I think a link with an external reference manager would be extremely important. But, that should slow you down getting to launch.
Thanks @abadesi
My co-founder and I went live with getRetire.com last week. Site is live. We are looking for early users to test the site and see if there are any bugs we havenβt caught. Plans to launch on PH later this week.
Retire is a dashboard to track and monitor 401(k) and retirement savings. Kind of like a Credit Karma for your 401(k). We built this because we realized most people have a 401(k) but very few know how it is invested and really pay attention to it (including ourselves). We are trying to change that since 401(k) is the best way to save money for the future.
Would love any feedback or questions on the site. Anything that is unclear or red flags that come to mind?
https://www.getretire.com/
Hi @ebrahimkhalil thanks for asking! We are thinking through a couple of different things. One option is to partner with companies who can help our users with some of the most painful parts of this experience (things like 401(k) rollovers, opening an IRA account, closing an old 401(k), etc.) Or we might try and offer these services ourselves, but that will take some time and has some regulatory hurdles with it.
We actually just launched on PH today. Check us out! Would love to hear what you think https://www.producthunt.com/post...
Thank you @abadesi for starting this thread. Very helpful for makers like us to get feedback on our launches.

Hi fellow Makers!
My name is Kevin and we recently launched an Experience Marketplace. Our goal is to use technology and human expertise to help connect users with the things they love-to-do. (Activities, Events, Experiences, etc)
I love ProductHunt for it's Maker's insights and constructive feedback.
Would love to hear what you guys think of LivMo: https://www.GoLivMo.com
Any feedback would help us improve and create something of more value for users everywhere.
THANK YOU!
@abadesi@livmo_inc_
The website looks nice. Hope the load speed can be further increased.
I felt it would be better if the price range form showed the currency symbol. Ex: $
I tried searching for automobile experience in Los Angeles and couldn't find any experiences.
@jerwin_joshuah Awesome! You're absolutely right.
We'll explore the comment about the currency symbol. Thanks for the feedback.
Page speed is something we're looking to improve. We certainly need it faster.
We're slowly expanding into Los Angeles and getting more creators there. I'ld love to share awesome driving experiences, when we do get them! Stay Tuned! :)

Hi fellow makers β‘οΈ
We launched SimpleBackups on Product Hunt yesterday and are very happy with the outcome! Would LOVE see things through your π and:
- Hear what you think about our homepage
- Know what you think is missing or what won't make you sign up when you see on the pricing page https://simplebackups.io/pricing/
It's always challenging because normally you want to add too much content and advertise features but at the same time afraid that you distract visitors and make them feel the page is bloated.
Thank you so much π
@zoxta the pricing page looks really nice! I prefer to keep it to three pricing options but you made 4 look good. it seems like clicking on "Billed Monthly" doesn't actually do anything though...
@lookmomnocode - Congrats on launching. I think you should add the option for customers to provide anonymous feedback. So they would provide you with some verification that they are customers, but would signal that they are not willing to be identified.
@ebrahimkhalil thanks for the feedback! Wil take it in consideration:)
Customers that fill in the testimonials are already able to change how they will be shown but an extra option to stay anonymous would be nice.
