Hi everyone, a friend and I created a weather app that lets you view the forecast as well as post the weather. It is available for Android now while the iOS version is in progress. Had the idea since we both had long commutes in a place where the weather was hard to predict, so we never knew if we needed an umbrella or snow boots when we got to where we were going. Website: https://weatheristic.app/ Play store: https://play.google.com/store/ap... I appreciate any feedback!

@abby_mabe I like the visual aspect of this idea, as weather is unpredictable in many places. I'm assuming people can comment on the approximate temp/humidity as well?
Abby Mabe
@oleksandr_senyuk Thank you for the feedback! Yes, within the app there are temperature and humidity sliders that the user can use to approximate the temp/humidity. For example, if it is a super hot day, the user can move the temperature slider all the way to the right where it turns red.

Hey Everyone! Greetings to all my fellow Makers/Hackers/Nomads! I've been a "maker" for a couple years now, I'm always tinkering with something. I also have many other facets of work/learning/personal/side projects. Most of my time, I spend working in a browser or other app. Basically all of my writing, development, designing, community involvement (like ProductHunt), and personal browsing is done in a browser. I started to get overwhelmed with all of the things I was working on and even just the daily chaos that was working/using a web browser for everything. I always had way too may tabs open, I lost things regularly, and got distracted constantly. I tried to keep myself organized but I was frequently side tracked by other work and urgent tasks. I thought, there must be a better way. After reading about productivity strategies and trying other apps to keep myself focused, productive, and efficient I decided I needed a better solution. General "project management" and productivity apps weren't working, I was still facing the same problems just within another app in my tool case now. So, I started building Partizion. The main methodology that productive people employ (and is the foundation on which Partizion was designed) is that multitasking is 1. impossible and 2. less efficient. The more you "partition" (see where I got the name from?) your work, and focus on the task at hand, the more efficient and productive you can be. You'll finish tasks faster, you'll stay on track to complete your daily checklist/goals, and you'll be able to pickup where you left off or switch contexts/tasks much more easily. I built this methodology right into Partizion. You can separate your work, create groups of tabs for projects/tasks/daily habits and open them with one click. Partizion is still in its early stages but I have committed to developing Partizion into the tool that should have come standard with every web browser. If you have some free time, I'd love for you to check it out and let me know your thoughts. I'm open to all feedback + suggestions! https://www.partizion.io/ Happy Making/Hacking/Hunting :)

@matthewbf Downloaded almost instantly, which tells you what I think of the idea. It did take me a second to understand what I was looking at in the video intro, mainly because a) I only skimmed your post above so didn't read in advance the mechanism and b) it repeated the same action (opening the same workspace) on loop. Maybe if it showed it opening one and then another it would be clearer, or just add a simple subtitle like what shows up after you download the extension. I had to scroll down to understand, myself. Once I got it, though: couldn't download fast enough. And the onboarding was on point afterward. Thank you, I think this will be a big help for me.

@oleksandr_senyuk Thanks Oleksandr! Those are some good points. I definitely need to update the hero page video. Thanks for trying out Partizion! :)

Hi everyone, finuprise wants to empower you to make an impact through your direct investments. You can vote by investing, without spending hours checking whether your investment fits your values. No minimum amount, curated information, and the choice to share your portfolio. We are currently early-stage, building a user waitlist and working on building a prototype. The website is www.finuprise.com and would love any feedback!

@gaialiciabalossi I like the name, finuprise! I am not a designer, but perhaps think of using a bit softer fonts? These seem to look a bit old-style. Nevertheless, you have got me to subscribe to the waitlist :)

@gaialiciabalossi Hello Gaia. I get why someone might want to toss a few coins and feel good about investing in say green energy. I think the good feeling needs to be more prominently displayed. Like a gold star or green leaf for doing something good for the world. For example, Prius outsold Insite because Prius drivers can better show off how green they are. Because that is the value I get as a user. I would suggest to change the color scheme to a softer green, since a lot of impact investing is to help the environment.
Gaia
@farid_gasanov thank you Farid for the feedback! and glad you liked it :)

@penpaperpencil Daniel, thank you for your feedback! very interesting and good point with making the users feel good. Will definitely work on it

Hi there, greetings from London! We have just launched QFinds, free Video CV creation app, in AppStore. And here's our page in PH https://www.producthunt.com/post... Any feedback would be hugely appreciated! P.S. Blown away with the whole world of PH. We thought just to launch here rather than getting very long strategic plan to promote it, but we already love the whole community and would love to be part of it.
