Do you need a full product to go live on Product Hunt?

So we have been buildout out socii, our attempt to take social media back to what it should be - simple, ad-free, real interaction, and have an internal beta we are working through ... do we wait until people can actually play with the app or do we instead launch with just the waitlist, videos, etc? Whats best practice here?

You should launch with something that people can play with. You can still upload videos etc early though

@manu_goel2 Hey Manu! Curious how you'd define by “something people can play with” — like an interactive demo or MVP with limited functionality? We’re still early stage so figuring out what’s enough to launch.
Also where would you upload videos early, do you mean before the launch?

@dheerajdotexe Hi Dheeraj - I meant a MVP. And yes, when core product is ready, you can make “product in action” videos and post them before launch

Curious hook and this sounds like something I'd root for, but with tons of folks are chasing that “real interaction” vibe, what's your differentiator, what makes socii stand out?

@dheerajdotexe you invite people to your network (people cant ask you), limited number of connections, no ads, pure cronological, etc
