Every AI product landing page went to the same wedding

by

Every AI product landing page looks identical now and I say this as someone actively making one

The checklist, you know it already:

  • dark mode with a purple/blue gradient blob

  • "Meet [Name]" as the h1

  • a floating chat bubble mockup at a 12 degree angle

  • Inter. always Inter.

  • three cards with lucide icons

  • somewhere, a sparkle emoji

I did like four of these on our own page before I noticed. Which is embarassing. :/

What are you doing to not look like everyone else? Actual examples welcome, I want to steal them.

Used this for making sure the designs are clean: and not 'ai slop', there's a lot of others but this works well for me with Claude Code.

Yes! This changed the game for me!

I started by creating a Google doc with screenshots of websites I liked, and what I liked about them (sometimes this was broad observations about look and feel or flow, other times it was element-level specific). I pulled from a mix of sites I already new and loved, some Google searching, and sites like . Other than keeping it in the B2C realm, I didn't care what space it was. I then had Claude analyze the doc. This was the foundation of my Design System, which I then iterated on over time in various ways. Hope that helps as some potential inspiration!

Ha, this is the structured version of what I've been doing! I dump reference sites into whatever Claude project I'm in, it looks great, then I start a page in another project and it's like Claude got amnesia and discovered a completely new personality. Writing it up as an actual design system is clearly the part I skipped. Thanks for the advice, this makes a lot of sense!
