Finding a name for a startup is always a fun process. Having gone through it several times with my previous startups, it's usually a long list of lame and stupid names... then it hits you. In my case, usually when I see it it resonates with me immediately. My latest startup, Cliezen is made up from the words Client and Kaizen = Cliezen. As the company is helping B2B companies understand their client experience and satisfaction, making small changes to their companies to better meet the needs and expectations of clients (hence Kaizen = meaning the Japanese lean management methodology of "continuous improvement", to make small gradual changes to improve processes and business. So, a lot of hidden meaning behind it and always fun when I have a meeting with someone that gets the combination of words (happens more often than I would have thought!).
@kari_thor_runarsson That's interesting, BTW It's an awesome name

The name "Butter" came from the desire for seamless, frictionless collaboration—like butter on toast. It reflects our goal to make interactive sessions smooth and enjoyable for everyone.

GPT isn’t creative so you should tell it what you think is creative first then it can go through the mud for you.
@roscoe_studio_roscoe_art_ Yes can't agree more, it gives out generic names. Will try the approach you mentioned.

@marksachintha I have a few I came up with to choose from. Bitmato. Protosculpture. Machine States. All have different methods. Happy to share. Roscoe Studio is my name plus studio.

One criteria we didn't want to compromise on was getting a .com domain. This was incredible painful. Almost all .coms are taken and some are even getting resold at ridiculous prices. Finally we found one that meets our business needs + has .com. https://www.cashvisory.com/

Individual brainstorming of a 7-member team for a couple of days and then pitching and discussing the ideas and weighing their pros and cons in a few meetings to arrive at the final, mostly accepted result.

We actually used a blend - combining 2 words (coin & hall) into a single one (Coinhall) so that it's more searchable ✨

Naming Taskade was a fun coffee-fueled brainstorm with my co-founders. We were sketching ideas for an app that turns big to-do lists into manageable tasks. The idea of cascading tasks kept coming up, and from there, the name "Taskade", a mashup of "task" and "cascade", just clicked. It felt right as it captured the essence of breaking down tasks in a flowing, organized way. Cheers to more flowing tasks!
