I don't want to make my app paid, but I want it to evolve

I recently launched a productivity app with gamification to keep motivated and AI to inspired the user. I love this app and its mission to help people achieve their goals. I don't want to make it a paid app or include ads, but I've been seeing paid communities popping up and it's given me an idea. What if I create a paid community that gets early access to new versions and can request features they want to see in the app? By subscribing, they would also be financially supporting the app's development. What do you think? Would you be interested in joining a community like this? I'm open to your feedback and suggestions. Thanks! PS: the app name is Beedone app by the way.
