What are the 5 tools you simply couldn't do your work without?

This could be related to your industry, or even a side project you're working on.

Here are my 5 (I couldn't function without them):

  1. Grammarly – proofreading my texts, not just posts, but also client communication

  2. ChatGPT / Claude – mostly brainstorming, help with copy, and summarising

  3. Figma – I can put the basic graphics together quickly.

  4. Translator – sounds incredibly old-school, but English is not my mother tongue

  5. Gmail – and not only for communication, but also for storing ideas and sending myself email reminders for posts

[and soon one more that I am working on – – prevents me from being banned on LinkedIn, so I will not lose my account.]

Mine come down to one habit more than five apps: I do not lean on a single AI model for a whole task. I reason with one, draft with another, and run the same prompt past a third when the stakes are higher, because they fail in different places. Outside of that, a notes app that stays open all day and a calendar I actually respect. Honest disclosure since it is on topic: I am building Zeplik, a single chat for switching between those models mid conversation, so I think about this habit a lot. Curious which models the rest of you reach for, and for what.

 Why do you consider codex better than Claude Code or Copilot?

  1. Gemini/Claude - mostly for brainstorming, structure building, image generation

  2. Hubspot (or other CRM) - I'm in sales so it's a must

  3. Spreadsheets - basically any idea or task starts there

  4. Calendar - for self management and meetings

  5. LinkedIn - mostly for research and outreach

Love this list, the email myself reminders one is so real. Mine is-

  1. Figma – where basically my whole day lives, design and thinking both

  2. Claude – brainstorming, copy, and talking myself out of bad ideas

  3. Claude Design – for turning those ideas into actual screens fast

  4. Slack – the only reason I have any idea what the team is doing

  5. Notion – every doc, note, and half-formed idea ends up here

And the soon slot, same as you: I've got two in the oven, Aeoix (tracking brand visibility across AI search) and Linkova (a backlink marketplace that shows the real price of a placement).

The Grammarly pick is making me realise I just let Claude do that job now.
