Given all the recent changes on Twitter like paid verification, daily restriction on the no. of tweets etc., and given threads is a replica of twitter - do you think it will replace Twitter?

Zuck has so much more experience than Elon in running a social media company.
I am not sure if Twitter will end completely, but I think in terms of popularity, number of users and mass adoption, Threads will outgrow Twitter.

I believe that even if the purpose of the thread is different, it will not change. If you observe a comment from the CEO of Instagram, they aim to maintain a more enjoyable atmosphere for threads and minimize anger on the platform. Additionally, their objective is not to endorse political content

The incentives to get people to create accounts and the sense of FOMO (getting friends to be automatic followers, listing your position etc) are pretty clever.
