I have a habit of seeing something cool, telling myself i will check it out later, and then completely forgetting about it. It is not even an actual list, just a vague memory that i saw a neat tool once, with no idea what it was called.

The annoying part is knowing there are probably a few useful tools floating around in my head that could help me right now if i had just written them down.
How do you handle this? Do you bookmark things, drop them into a quick note, or just let them go and trust you will run into them again if they are actually worth finding?

I'm preparing for my first Product Hunt launch, and I've been trying to understand what actually makes the difference between a launch that gets some attention and one that reaches the top of the leaderboard.

There is a lot of advice online about launching on Product Hunt: building an audience beforehand, getting early supporters, posting at the right time, engaging with the community, getting comments, sharing on social media, etc.

But I'd rather hear from people who have actually done it.

I m not very active on Twitter I usually take on the role of a silent stalker.

But I ve never seen such a flood of posts about AI being used in medicine as I have recently.

Quick heads-up for anyone here with an AI feature and EU users, because the coverage of this was all about the parts that got delayed.

I've had thousands of impressions on posts where nobody actually cared to engage. Then there are quiet DMs or small threads where you end up talking for hours.

someone shares a struggle and someone else actually relates. Someone gives advice without expecting anything in return. Nobody is trying to pitch you their service in the second message.

We're having some internal discussions about what users would prefer - a wide range of niche products (maybe in more of an app-like ecosystem) - or an all in one platform.
Interested in learning what the community things - primarily folks who use creator tools and publish / sell / create content!

I spent way too much time this week looking for an old client payment record across messy folders.

Since my freelance work is pretty sparse paying $20/month for a subscription based accounting app feels like overkill. But sticking to basic spreadsheet templates is clearly getting disorganized as time goes on.

There has to be a middle ground between manual sheets and heavy SaaS apps.

I thought moving to a different password manager would basically be: export everything, import everything, done.

Then I started thinking about all the old logins, notes, duplicates, shared passwords, and random stuff that has accumulated over the years.

For anyone who has actually made the switch, which one did you leave and what did you move to? Anything you wish you d known beforehand?
