How do you make your Product Hunt launch video?

I can safely say that the video is one of the most important things on launch day.

Sometimes even more important than your images.

What is the tell that you are running a business from memory instead of actually tracking it?

I noticed the pattern only after it had already cost me a client. If a number lives only in your head, or only gets updated when you happen to remember, that is memory, not tracking, even if you would call it tracking if someone asked. It looks fine right up until the moment it does not. Curious what tipped you off that you had crossed that line somewhere in your business, was it a specific mistake, or something you only noticed looking back.

What is the one part of running more than one business that nobody warns you about before you start?

Everyone warns you about the time, the money, and the stress. Nobody warns you about the specific moment you realize you cannot hold all of it in your head anymore, and that moment tends to arrive quietly instead of announcing itself. Mine came the day I found out a repeat client had not booked in six weeks and I had no idea until she mentioned she found someone else. Curious what your version of that moment was, and whether it changed how you run things afterward, or just made you more anxious about missing the next one.

When do you know a feature is actually worth building?

I think many tech product builders, including myself, can easily fall into tunnel vision, whereby I am overly convinced that the feature we re working on is clearly justified. With vibe-coding tools, the cost of building new features has also dropped dramatically. But lower development costs didn't seem to translate to product growth in my organization. Many newly launched features still receive little adoption, or have a hard time "syncing" with the rest of the product.

So I m curious: how do you decide when a feature is actually worth building? Do you wait for repeated user requests, test a lightweight version first, trust your product instinct, or rely on behavioral data before committing?

Does it make sense to invest in defense now? Even a Z-gen African startup raised $11M+ for that.

We won t pretend that the world isn t tense, because relations between countries are increasingly strained. (Coming from a country that never had technological or numerical superiority, we ve mostly become just part of the regime.)

But not everyone is on the same page, and countries are investing in defence.

Do you really enjoy being a founder?

As an entrepreneur who started my journey at 15, I never thought that there was another path, but sometimes I hear the opinion from people who launched their startup that "being a founder is terrible." What is your opinion?

Why does AI still struggle to find the right data?

One of the biggest risks with AI analytics is not when the system says, I don t know.

It is when it gives a confident, polished answer based on the wrong source.

A company may have dozens of tables that could technically answer a question, but only one reflects the definition the business actually trusts.

How are teams helping AI distinguish between data that is available and data that is actually correct for the question?

What makes a work update trustworthy?

Most productivity tools optimize for completeness: more activity, more metrics, more detail. But a useful update is not a transcript of everything someone did.

It should explain what changed, why it mattered, and what happens next. My coding agent is not able to do this that well because of the context gap

Would You Use AI Video to Prototype a Campaign Before Shooting It?

AI video is becoming good enough that I m starting to think its most interesting use case may not be replacing traditional production.

It may be prototyping it.

I recently created a short fashion/editorial concept with Seedance 2.5.
