How reliable are the tools we use to red-team AI agents? (4 preprints, open-source eval code)

Published four connected preprints on agentic AI security evaluation methodology covering reliability gaps in automated refusal/prompt-injection detectors, and a controlled 7,020-trial study finding that agent framework choice explains ~0.06% of security outcome variance versus ~29% for attack type. All open (CC BY 4.0), code open-source. Curious what other builders in this space are seeing.

<p>Curious what’s unfolding at Anthropic.</p>

I d skip this subscription entirely if Cloud Max didn t offer Fable 5. Opus 4.7, 4.8 & 5.0 are underwhelming, and they keep regressing.
Benchmarks keep improving, but real-world experience keeps declining. It s incoherent, difficult to steer, and perpetually slacks off.
It s exactly that insufferable big-tech coworker: all lectures, no delivery.
When given tasks, it actively looks for ways to minimize its workload.
In automated loops? Send it 7 requirements, it ll claim everything is complete. Yet every task is only 20% finished, rendering all outputs useless.
Curious what s unfolding at Anthropic.
Opus 4.6 feels like a one-off stroke of luck. They seemingly haven t cracked the code to build a better Opus iteration.

Does your company/tool support the inclusion of people with impairments? Inspiration by Apple & Meta

Whether it's employing people with disabilities or making products more accessible, I ve been noticing efforts by major companies to support inclusion.

What is the last thing you stopped doing, and did anything actually break?

Genuine question, not a lesson in disguise. I do not have this figured out.

Almost all the advice here is about what to add. A channel, a feature, a ritual, a metric. Nobody talks much about what they removed, and what it actually cost them.

What’s the best lesson you’ve learned on Product Hunt?

The best lesson I ve learned through my Product Hunt journey is that . I ve had launches where everything felt perfectly aligned , , but they didn t gain traction simply because I didn t prioritize building pre-launch momentum or engaging the community beforehand. On the flip side, I ve also seen products unexpectedly take off when the community genuinely resonated with their story, even if the prep wasn t perfect. Another valuable takeaway? ; . I ve relaunched products after initial setbacks, refined based on feedback, and ended up with surprising success. The journey taught me to listen, adapt, and never take even the smallest wins for granted. What s been your key takeaway?

The Heartbeat Problem

How do remote teams capture a real emotional heartbeat without surveys?

Hey Product Hunt! I'm Christian, a founder working in the wellbeing/remote work space.

Something I keep seeing in remote and hybrid teams:

  • We have tons of operational data but almost zero emotional data.

  • Annual surveys are too slow.

  • Monthly forms are too long.

🎯 Stop obsessing over “teen founders” — from 18 y.o. founder

People love to obsess over age. Every time a teenager ships something, the headline is: Look, they re only 17! It s become a whole genre of founder story.

But honestly it s the least interesting part.

Have you ever thought about investing in a company you found on Product Hunt?

In a way, every time you buy something through Product Hunt, you're putting hope into that maker or company and, in a sense, you're investing in them.

At the same time, I feel that many makers here are also looking for investors. But not everyone is a VC.
