The House of Mouse lets in AI

Disney just announced a licensing deal with OpenAI that will allow users of OpenAI s Sora to generate short videos of its characters.

Just in case you ve forgotten what s in Disney s IP library, it s way more than Mickey and Goofy. It spans Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, and a bunch of other properties. Not everything is included in the deal, though. For example, you ll get the illustrated Tony Stark, not the Robert Downey Jr. version.

How are startups approaching AI onboarding without overwhelming support teams?

I ve been talking with a lot of founders and support leaders lately, and something interesting keeps coming up. Many teams want to introduce AI into customer support, but the onboarding and setup process often becomes the biggest hurdle. Not because the tech isn t good enough, but because teams worry about training, accuracy, and maintaining a smooth customer experience during the transition.

I m curious how others are navigating this. Are you rolling AI out gradually? Testing it on internal queries first? Letting it assist agents before going customer-facing? Something else entirely?

Challenges that I'm currently working on in the development of AI Agents

So here are 3 problems that I'm working to solve in the development of our agentic systems.
Any help would be truly appreciated.
1) How to prevent the agent from leaving the loop in between tool calls, saying it's "going to move on to the next step", or to ask the user for confirmation.

2) How to make the agent manage it's tokens autonomously and intelligently, by identifying and discarding messages or context that are no longer relevant.

(Important in particular for when there's this one gigantic piece of content among the messages that keeps getting sent back in each new API call, making the token count grow exponentially)

- One path that I'm exploring is to have the one task or step in a different agent, so the main agent calls the agent that executes this task, so the context stays separate.

Is anyone else working full-time and still building a SaaS on the side?

Hey everyone, just sharing a bit of what I ve been up to and hoping to get some advice and feedback. I work full-time as a cleaner during the day, but after work, I dedicate around 4 5 hours to building my SaaS projects. It s been a challenge, but I ve been staying consistent.
So far, I ve launched Lenscape a simple, free-to-use image search tool. It s basic for now, but I plan to add more features over time. My second project, Craftiadz, is nearly ready just wrapping up testing and debugging. Hoping to open it up for user testing today or tomorrow.
Would really appreciate any feedback on the tools or suggestions on how to get early users. Also curious if you re juggling a job while building your SaaS, how do you manage your time and keep momentum?
Lastly, I d love to hear about any ad platforms or channels that have worked for others in driving early user acquisition. Where do you recommend running ads to get noticed?
Thanks in advance!

What free tools (besides ChatGPT) do you use to create digital products?

I'm working on a digital product project, things like downloadable guides.

ChatGPT is okay (but not so great) for it, but maybe you can suggest what other free tools you know/have used?

Could be:

If your product fails, do you usually keep the domain or just let it go?

I built a product backend in 2019. Unfortunately, it didn t work out. But it s a .ai domain with good domain authority. I m not interested in working on that product or niche anymore. I was emotionally attached to it last time, but this time I want to let it go.

What do you think? What do you guys usually do in situations like this?

Moving Forward: A New Chapter

After putting in significant effort to build Videco, my co-founder and I have parted ways due to differences in vision and commitment. While these situations are never easy, they serve as valuable learning experiences.
Key lessons I ve learned:
Professionalism matters more than personal relationships
Aligned vision and commitment are non-negotiable
Always have clear agreements in place things don t always go as planned
Mutual respect when things go sideway
With that in mind, I m now launching a new venture in the same industry, bringing forward the lessons learned and a renewed focus on building something even stronger.
: . @ . , .
That said, I m proud of what I ve accomplished through my own efforts. Here are the numbers I reached with my personal work:
#1 ProductHunt of the Day, #1 Marketing Tool of the Month
+500 demo's with ICP and partners
Went forward with SaaStock Pitch Competition 2024, and B2B Rocks 2024
+100k impressions and 2k clicks
Ranked Google 1st page as alternative for prime competitors
Now its time to 100x that with a better product and vibes! Onward and upward!
Curious about it? Just DM me and will show you what I mean!

Podcast Growth in 2025 - What's Still Missing?

Hey everyone
I've been spending a lot of time thinking about podcast growth lately - especially from the perspective of independent creators who don't always have access to big platforms or network-level tools.
Will older tools like Chartable now gone, I'm curious how others are navigating this space in 2025.
Here are a few things I d love to hear your thoughts on:

  • How are you tracking your podcast s growth and audience reach today?

  • Are there features or tools you wish podcast platforms offered?

  • What kind of insights or analytics do you think actually help with growth?

  • What s one thing that frustrates you about the current landscape?

I ve been personally diving into this space and would love to compare notes, learn from your experiences, and understand how others are approaching it.
Let s make this a shared resource for anyone building or growing a podcast in 2025

Do you use an AI Email assistant? Which do you recommend?

We've seen so many AI email assistants pop up recently. The one I'm most intrigued by is Cora. I just got off the Cora waitlist and am taking it for a spin this weekend.

I still get shiny penny syndrome when I see new productivity tools but I am starting to double down on the simple approach of doing less is more impactful. Cora sends you email summaries only 2x a day, and crafts different responses you can choose from and only surfaces the most important items so you aren't reacting to every item as it arrives and aren't living chained to your inbox. I'm excited to see if it actually improves my productivity AND impact.
