Yep, 18-year-old Nika was terrified that people would notice her failure. Reality check: when a post flops, almost nobody sees it anyway. The only person who actually suffers from the low engagement is the original poster.

Today, I read a study showing that social media use is linked to weaker reading, vocabulary, and word-recognition skills in teens under 16.
Yesterday, I read an article saying that students who used AI showed up to 55% less brain activity and remembered less.
According to the news, if this is what technology was supposed to help us with and make our lives easier, then I don t see the future very brightly.

On the contrary, I have to say that I use AI for education (e.g. for building, explaining things when I do not understand them). But 80% of people just take the information and do not bother to think about other things.
Yes, we can save a lot of time, and mental capacity/energy with "no memorising" but do we really spend that saved time on something useful and meaningful?

Not only in our business life, but also in our personal life.

What we need to do is convince people that our product or our personality is the best possible option they can choose from.

Exactly one week from now, I ll be co-organising a tech event (a hackathon), and I m realising how much work it actually takes. I ve been to many conferences myself to gather inspiration, but I still can t come close to what I ve experienced as an attendee. Maybe that s also because we re organising it as just a 3-person team.

If you ve been to hackathons or other tech events before, what made a positive impression on you?

I have build close 2-3 applications till now, none succeeded. But, while starting building or even starting to market, I never thought of making it big enough. It is simply because I was working on small problems and creating small solutions for it and to be honest, never wanted to raise investments.

But, in the startup and saas scenario, there are companies and saas with minimal idea have taken investments. For me, investments are a way with which you come under pressure of increasing your numbes faster. While indie saas owners can benefit all the profits themselves while never have to be under pressure when app or startup is down etc.

What do you think? Raising investment is a good choice for founders or when is investment needed?
