Staying focused has always been a huge challenge for me. I was recently diagnosed with ADHD. Over the years I've bounced around from paper, to calendards, to web-based to-do apps, and nothing sticks. I've been usind Slash a couple of weeks now. Focus is a work in progress, but Slash gets me back on track and gives me much more confidence that I have planned my priorities correctly. Thank you!

I like the concept of Slash, especially the visible Task Timer, which keeps me focused on one task at a time, though that's not always easy to do. I also like the Slash UI, and it makes it easier to create or add todos for the current day because the task lists are easier to access instead of buried in folders. The Slash approach to managing tasks could be done by other task managers, but they don't remind you to revisit their task list.
I’ve only used Slash for four days now, but my approach so far is to start my task list with a few routine tasks (check email, journal write, pay a bill), so I build a sprint that leads to my longer, more focused-required tasks.
Slash compels users to create a to-do list to get started, which I’ve tried in other task managers, but I eventually stopped doing it. The Timer in my menu reminds me of how much I’ve spent on a task, but after I finish or pause a task, Slash opens to show the Today list along with the tasks I’ve set for the week.
Slash is supposed to automatically move you to the next once you click the Done button in the menu bar, but that button has a serious bug. It works sometimes, but most of the time, it doesn't. I wish the developers could fix it because of the secret sauce of Slash.
Is Slash Still Supported?
I see that it's been 12 months since someone wrote a review of Slash, and I searched for Slash on a few social media accounts. So I'm wondering if the developers are still working on the app. I hope so. I plan to take out a subscription and even promote the app, but it would be great to hear about the status of the program and if they still plan to support it.
