It is easy to get distracted with all the tasks you can be doing, with slash I remain focused on what I need to get done and on those with the highest priority. Great tool.

Been using Slash for about 2 weeks. Love it so far. Help me get focused!
I can think of a lot of potential future integrations with to-do/project apps.
Using it on windows and works great so far (apart that the timer does not follow new desktops)
@tainmar Glad you like it! Did you report the desktop issue on Nolt yet? Drop it here and we'll be sure to fix, if possible: slash.nolt.io

A must-have tool for freelancers. I used to organize my weekly sprints with Fantastical (calendar app).
I moved to Slash 2 weeks ago.
It improved my productivity by giving me a better overview of what needs to be done.
It puts the emphasis on what's next. And according to me, you get 3 benefits out of this:
- better decisions making when it comes to "important versus urgent" arbitrage
- clearer interpretation on what you're upon to do (if it seems to broad, then it means it's not specific enough: it pushes you to split your task in mini others)
- better reports for your clients on what have been done this week
One thing I loved is that if I get late with my sprint, I don't judge myself in a bad way. Calendar views always give you the feeling that you're always late (in a bad way, with pressure of Time).

Someone on a remote product / digital conference recommended Slash, so I gave it a try... Boy, my live was so boring and wrong before I started using Slash!
It doesn't only help you to organize your tasks (e.g. for the day, for the week,..). It also awesomly rewards you for slashing tasks :D I can not wait to DO things now! I don't know how I ever have done anything before =)
There are additional quality of life features like lists or time tracking on tasks. Hell yes! I even insert meetings as todos to have the rewarding effect when it is done and to have time tracking. Awesome productivity tool, you should really give it a try!
@caradon oh nice, so glad the word is out! Ha so true, after a while we started putting "analogue" things like grabbing lunch there too to get the reward :)

Best DO app I've ever tested. 🤯
I love the bar underneath that reminds you to work and the fact of being able to slash the stains of the week. Not to mention the amazing minimalist design created for that focus. The statistics module allows you to see how many hours are spent on classes, personal projects, and clients.
Congratulations to the team behind this beautiful project. 🎉
I no longer have an excuse not to work. 👨💻
As we say in French: Bravo 🇫🇷

It's like a to-do list wearing a felt-top hat thrashing on the geetar
This is what productivity should be like. Gone are the days of never ending to-do lists..
Instead, Slash is a companion that forces you to be focused. From showing just 1 task at a time so you don't feel overwhelmed and can ACTUALLY find clarity, to having a pomodoro-like countdown timer following you around your desktop.
Features are purposefully picked and not just for the sake of features, the design is minimal, the dark mode is gorgeous and their public roadmap shows their commitment to feedback and constantly improving on their creation.
I'm a fan.
Great DO app: say goodbye to try.
Focus and attention distilled to a clean, prioritized, time-able task list. The satisfaction of Fruit Ninja applied to productive work!

I like Slash for one specific reason. It forces me to focus on one thing at a time. I have tried OmniFocus, Todoist, Wunder/Microsoft To Do, Google Tasks, Things, and iOS Reminders. All of them are nice and have a lot of features. But the thing that sets Slash apart for me is the relentless and undivided attention on one task. I found myself doing less managing and more doing.
Report
@atharkhan less managing and more doing is exactly what Slash is supposed to provide :) thank you for your feedback!
