Glitter AI - Turn any process into a step-by-step guide

by
Create written documentation just by speaking! Skip the endless Zooms to explain stuff to co-workers or customers. Glitter AI turns your mouse clicks + voice into a beautiful written guide complete with screenshots + text that you can easily edit and share.

Hey @yuvalkarmi ! 🎉 I've known you since 2016 with ActionBar (later Simpo), and I've always admired your ability to dig deep into customer pain points and solve from there, rather than starting with the tech. Glitter AI looks amazing and totally hits my needs! Quick question: how does Glitter AI handle more complex processes that might have multiple steps and branches? Is there a way to customize the flow and structure of the documentation to fit different scenarios? Congrats on the launch! 🚀 Shai
Yuval Karmi
@shai_alon Shai thank you SO much for writing this. Indeed we go WAY WAY back :) So this is different from Simpo in that the documentation isn't dynamic per-se. The process you do is the process that gets documented. Now what you CAN do is create sections within Glitter AI to talk about different scenarios, and you can easily link from one guide to another if it's better to break it down. I'd be curious to see the use case if this becomes a requested feature!

@yuvalkarmi Sounds great! I'm a heavy Loom Workflow junkie - and wonder how much of it Glitter AI can automate away. Taking it for a spin...
Yuval Karmi
@shai_alon omg i would love to know if my hypothesis about this use case is actually correct, so please do let me know! happy to integrate feedback into the product <3

I absolutely love it! Good luck, Yuval!

Useful product, Yuval. Question: do other users have to have an account, or can I export these guides elsewhere?
Yuval Karmi
@on Hey on! great username, by the way! You must have been pretty early to product hunt haha. Anyway, to answer your question - YES - you can easily export guides. Right now, a few formats are supported with more coming: - HTML - Markdown - PDF - Plain text You can also easily embed guides anywhere, like Confluence or other knowledge base systems.

@yuvalkarmi good job! Upvoted. Will give it a try with the Basic plan.
Yuval Karmi
@fabdurso sounds great! 10 guides are included for free, so feel free to use it as much as you want until then :) no time limit on it or anything.

This product looks like a great way to save time among teams. I think that one of the biggest things that we need to save time on while working on projects is having to take time to explain what is happening and catching people up.
Yuval Karmi
@yahya_obeid thanks yahya. yep yep, totally experienced this myself. and i love talking to people. it's just that i'd rather be talking about our pets (or something that's actually worth spending time on) than about where to click to get something done... :) i appreciate the comment!

Nenad
Wasted 10 minutes explaining what I want (just testing) nothing came to fruition, left to never come back
Yuval Karmi
@nenad_simicevic Oof! I'm so sorry this happened! That should definitely NOT be what happens. Here's my personal cell - do you mind shooting over a Whatsapp message to +1-415-200-2335? I'd love to chat and understand what went wrong, and make it worth your while to come back and try it out again <3 If email is easier, btw, here it is: yuval@glitter.io
