Looks great! I wonder how one would use this together with Mailbox.

I'm always surprised how the paid Google Apps / for Biz users get shafted on new features.
Despite having a deep, deep inbox, I've never had an issue with it. Nothing's saved it or helped it. I'll try anything, but this feels like more, not less. Google's approach is eh to me at times, as I want all my email (example: if I actually subscribe to a newsletter, let me have it, don't separate it by default), but I'm really, really curious to see where this goes.
I'd be interested in this as well, but we're a google apps setup and I rarely use my @gmail.com address other than for very personal email signups and the like.
I've hated current email for a long time. Nothing really has fixed it for my needs that I've tried yet. Right now I use a combination of ActiveInbox and Streak, which works, but isn't my optimal choice.
For me, my "inbox" should be a combination of email, todos and calendar items, but integrated. Having my calendar to one side of my inbox and my todo list on the other isn't a solution and I've never really liked the google tasks or calendar extension in gmail. If I had a money, I'd go digging into this because I'm obviously (from this thread) the only person frustrated by it.
The google inbox looks like it might be headed that way, which is why I'm (patiently) waiting for it to be google app compatible (and an invitation -hint to the google apps team).
I have to say - I was a Mailbox user but quickly converted over to Inbox. Love the interface and design. No more getting lost in my email! Can't compete with their integrations and bringing my Google products usage full circle. Excited to see Mailbox's response to this.
