I have been using Inbox for about 2 months now and I will never go back to normal Email again. Great work.

For the first time in years, I've stopped testing new personal email clients. Inbox makes email sooooo much more logical, intuitive, and self-managed. #nailedit, Google.
With the rise of new and awesome email clients like Polymail or Superhuman, the bare basics sometimes works better for some people like me.
Pros:
It simply works.
Cons:
It's not smart enough.

Google Inbox is my second most favorite of the lot. Used to ignore it all these days, but realized that it's powerful and can manage emails faster.
Pros:
Automatic categorization of emails and actionable task manager.
Cons:
Need for Mac app.

Took me awhile to like Inbox, but now I really do. The organization of folders helps immensely and I use it similarly to a to-do list!
Pros:
Folders for organization and easy to use
Cons:
Cannot mark e-mail as unread

Could Inbox for iOS be smart enough to open app links in emails (such as "Open Messenger") by launching the app itself (such as the Messenger app) rather than opening a placeholder/redirect page in Chrome for iOS, which is creating an extra step towards launching the app?

It took me just 4 days to get used to it coming from traditional gmail desktop tool.
But once I could manage the initial learn curve, it really improved my productivity specially with reminders, smart suggested answers and how it groups different kinds of emails automatically.
Pros:
Awesome desktop and mobile usability and design. It helps you increase productivity with some really handy features that saves and organize.
Cons:
There is not friendly way to attach and image and assign a link to it (there is a way but you need to dig and research on how to do it.

I like & hate inbox for the same features.
It´s the first time my Mailbox feels sorted and clean. That said Inbox dicards eamils as unimportant, doesn't show notifications for all emails and shows how much it knows about my friends, travel agrangements and so on.
I do think a manual hosted version would be really great but I doubt we will see something soon.
In the end its a Google Product which means no updates and in 2 years we get the next version of it. It lacks a lot of things you can't do with it. For instance multiple Accounts, S/MIME encryption and ways to highlight a lot more.
Pros:
- Productivity Booster
- Good overview over emails
- Inbox Zero
Cons:
- Google Product (so we will not see any updates)
- Missing features from GMail (Filters, Labels, etc)

RIP Google Inbox. You met your demise far too soon. Google is killing Inbox in March 2019 without adding bundling to Gmail. Who else is outraged??

Great service but google's reluctance to keep it around is a sad truth.
Pros:
Excellent way to manage emails, snooze feature, material
