SOMEBODY loves the @anchorfm UX / UI . love the idea! bring it to the states!

Another Google's dud? Looks like a Q&A board that's missing social networking capability, which as a result will make it hard for users stick. And Nextdoor is even worse... I've never seen a site making it so hard for users to register. I had to wait a week to get my postcard only to find a pin code that has already expired. I think it's time for me to build something in this space...

Kind of sketchy that "ayurvedic chemistry" is used as the example, almost legitimises pseudoscience. I could use something like this, but I doubt it will have a lot of users, it's the sort of thing Facebook should be doing IMO as that's what people use to reach their local community.

This looks like brother of their paid version Google helpouts (NOT hangouts) which they shutdown in less than 2yrs. this is free though.
