Smart Canvas by Google - Google's answer to Notion

This looks really good. If they play their cards well, this may become THE Notion killer, with all the same flaws.

Wait wasn't this more or less already an ability we had within Google docs / sheets? You can write in comments .. More or less the same thing? 🤔

I think Notion is now way ahead especially because they announced their API now

No other company has as wide a range of possibilities as Google. However, there is no other company that cannot use these opportunities as much as google. actually catching up with microsoft was insufficient. They compete with each other in killing products :)

I'm hyped on this. I pay for Google Workspace for quite a few accounts. More features from Google are welcome on my end — and this is a good one. "Smart Chips" though? … terrible name. Did google not google "smart chips" first?

Google has raised the bar on its 'office' app tremendously. I have replace "Office" with Google's docs, sheets, slides - I'm looking forward to trying out Smart Canvas.
