Note about availability and pricing: Sora is included as part of your Plus account at no additional cost. You can generate up to 50 videos at 480p resolution or fewer videos at 720p each month. For those who want more Sora, the Pro plan includes 10x more usage, higher resolutions, and longer durations. We’re working on tailored pricing for different types of users, which we plan to make available early next year.

The launch is definitely exciting, but after such a long wait, the result feels a bit underwhelming, especially with so many strong video tools out there today. Still, big thanks to Sora for being a pioneer and leading the AI video hype this year!

Finally, Sora is here🔥. Will the account creation process be available soon, or is there a specific timeline for that? I’m eager to dive in once it’s up! 😄

Of course, there's still plenty of room for improvement, but I think an incredible tool has been created as a starting point. Thinking about the capabilities that might be added in the future, I’m still amazed at the pace of AI advancements.

Sora, finally here after much anticipation!🎄But It looks like the Christmas gift can't be opened just yet! 🎁 Sora's page is currently displaying: Sign ups are temporarily unavailable."We’re currently experiencing heavy traffic and have temporarily disabled sign ups. We’re working to get them back up shortly so check back soon." I look forward to registering and using it as soon as possible, and hope it will outperform the existing AI video generation tools on the market. After all, It was released a year later than announced, and other competitors now offer higher-resolution videos with more free generation options. But, I believe the OpenAI team can iterate quickly to make the product better aligned with users' needs.
