I've been following Hatchli for the last month or so and it is a really cool app for a variety of users. Personally, I enjoy swiping through the different business/product ideas for entertainment. It's interesting to see what ideas there are out there and how feasible or not these ideas are. On another note, I see how this app could be enormously insightful for an aspiring entrepreneur in comparing ideas, looking for inspiration, getting feedback, and connecting with people venturing out on the same road. Additionally, early stage investors or established companies could find this app potentially useful as well. So whether looking for business or entertainment, this app could give you some great content to look through.

Pretty cool! I'm interested in learning more about partnership opportunities.
As a local director for the Cincinnati Founder Institute chapter, we're excited to pilot Hatchli as an ideation tool for the upcoming cohort this fall for ideation stage entrepreneurs in the program. Happy to see it getting some traction today on Product Hunt!

Great product. I have a question: Why do you need my date of birth? Just curious. Thanks!
@akinlaby Valid question. We ask for date of birth mostly for age. We're providing entrepreneurs with analysis as to who their target market should be (and we're making it more in depth in the next couple of updates), so we want to be able to look at the data, cluster by taste profiles, and then be able to provide what that profile looks like in terms of demographic data.
@gosathya Glad to hear you're enjoying Hatchli! Let us know if you have more feedback :)

This has filled the void in my life left by quitting Tinder. Love having some substance and fun for in quick hits that helps cultivate my own creativity
Cool idea. I think its obvious that more sharing and real time vetting of ideas will make your ideas better. But that mindset I've found really is limited to startups and the "silicon valley" style of thinking. How do you guys tackle the mainstream opinion that sharing could = stealing? Love what you guys are doing.
@evankimbrell That's a great question. What we've found is that the open style of thinking isn't necessarily confined to a geographical location, rather a mindset that jives with a type of person. As we grow, we're going to do a lot to broadcast the activity and results that are coming out of Hatchli. When people see that this type of vetting works, combined with the multitude of resources we'll be providing to make us an indispensable tool in the first step of an idea's journey, they'll be much more open to trying Hatchli out for themselves.
