Milk Video is a video marketing platform that simplifies short-form video creation for marketers. Anyone can collect, clip, and ship video content such as customer testimonials, employee testimonials, and thought pieces in minutes.
Hey Product Hunters! Ross Cranwell & Lenny Bogdonoff of Milk Video here 🥛
Today we’re launching a tool to make it 10x easier to capture video content — just by sending a link.
With Milk’s Video Capture feature, you can:
- Ask your best customers for a remote video testimonial they can record on their own time
- Leverage your community by interviewing your coworkers or the C-level
- Interview SMEs at scale
Once they record, their video is instantly available in your Milk dashboard ready for editing. From there, you can clip and ship a video testimonial in minutes.
We started Milk over a year ago to help marketers make the most of all the hard work they’d already put into webinars, interviews, and podcasts.
Video capture helps teams quickly get started with video if they don’t have those existing assets to repurpose.
Today's launch is focused on our video capture feature, but Milk Video is a fully flexible video marketing platform. Here’s how it works:
☁️ Upload a podcast, webinar or event recording. It's automatically transcribed, and you can quickly identify the important parts.
✂️ Clip a key moment. You can either use a visual of the audio waveform or find the important sections using caption timestamps.
🐮 Add titles, set colors, and add a logo. Our design is simple to use and the layout reflows based on your content.
✏️ Edit the design. Our advanced editor allows for using your own custom fonts, resizing for different dimensions, and even making multiple scenes.
🎬 Download and share. The video format downloads quickly and you can share it right away on any social media platform.
Give it a try for free — our team would love to hear your thoughts!
If you have any questions, we are ready to answer them. You can also reach out to me or Lenny directly anytime at founders@milkvideo.com
Report
I gave this a try within my team and it worked really well on desktop and iPhone (both Chrome). Far easier than asking folks to figure out their own method of recording and sending. And of course, the transcription and editing tools from Milk Video is super convenient. Here's a sample video:
