It is a really powerful task manager application. Can it integrate directly with google calendar?

Great question. We integrate with Dropbox and Google Drive for easy access to your cloud storage, but not with Calendar. What would be the use case for this integration for you or team?

Is a desktop app in the works?

Infolio is primarily a web app, so we don't yet have plans for the desktop version.
I am using Infolio for a year now and it is a perfect lean solution right at the level to help us organise our small team. Great product already!

When things get really busy in a task manager, dashboards become a must. Is this on any development roadmaps?

In the next couple of weeks we will add “My Tasks” dashboard to help navigate tasks from various projects in one place. We also have in the pipeline dashboard that provides at a glance update on all your projects.
Really loving this, need a Trello replacement and this looks like it

Definitely give Infolio a go. We designed it with simplicity of Trello in mind, but with lots of things Trello missing out of the box.
