I could imagine myself relying on this product moving forward!
@william_parsons Hi William, I hope the tutorials were helpful. Let us know by means of the in-app feedback what you had difficulties with so that we may explore how to make it easier to use.

Is there a plugin for non-wordpress users, like an API or script?
@parkerituk Hi Parker. We offer many export options from the File menu which makes it possible to get your content out of INK and onto your site, and are working on an integrations API. Thank you for using INK!
@parkerituk Hi Parker, just an update on your comment: export plugin API will be launched later this week via an INK update. You can see our documentation here: https://inkcontent.github.io/dev...#
@iherreros Hi Ignacio, we're planning to keep INK free, and release paid upgrades for entirely new features that don't exist in INK today.

No privacy policy? For a free app that seems to be sending to content to the cloud, this sets off an alarm. The lack of a mention about Edgy Labs or whatever `seo.app` is makes it seem even more like it's just bait.
@coreyward Hi Corey, thank you for using INK.
Privacy policy can be found on A) our website inkforall.com B) inside the INK app in two different locations (left & right sidebar, near the log in buttons), C) A webpage where you are prompted to review privacy policy / terms before signing in.
Edgy Labs is mentioned in the privacy policy. Quote: "Edgy Labs, LLC and its subsidiary INK Content, Inc." Not sure what your question is? As for seo.app, is not a company, just a domain from which we serve our APIs. Some queries also come from aws servers.
Content you write in INK is analyzed by our AI which lives in the cloud, which sends the results back to the INK client. How would you architect it so that low powered computers can run the powerful AI analysis locally? And if you could bypass the cloud, would you put your proprietary and patented AI in a free product ready to download by your competition to copy? Every web application processes data in the cloud. There is nothing mysterious about it.

@adridder I reviewed the privacy policy and it seems inadequate. It fails to include language germaine to the use case, notably the content that you collect and metadata around that information. It does not, for example, tell me how privileged/confidential content and the metadata (title, etc) drafted in your application is stored, who has access to it, or how it might be used now or in the future.
As a developer, the claims you're making about AI and copying are goofy. An AI model in a deployed product is not any more hardware intensive to run than a manually developed algorithm. Large server farms are typically used as a way to speed up the training process, which takes the bulk of the time; they're not used to actually evaluate every query against the compiled model. Second, we've been compiling and deploying proprietary software for a long time now—do you really think that every application on your computer is effectively open source?
In any case, I'm not suggesting that your software run entirely client side, only that, given the volume and nature of sensitive information you are collecting combined with the access a native application has to the filesystem. you do a better job making privacy and communication of privacy expectations a priority.
@coreyward Hi Corey, I appreciate that you care about privacy, so do I. It’s a topic we continue to discuss here at our company. As a self-funded, bootstrapped company we made a policy which provides the widest possible legal protection. The idea was to make this an evolving policy. We want to hear from users on concerns. Thank you for your feedback.
Thank you for your input on software architecture. Lots went into how/why we built the product the way we did. Happy to have a conversation privately if that is something you would like. This is not the appropriate forum. Feel free to email me.
