Hi PH — Job loss, my wife’s cancer fight, and 3 apps built to stay hopeful. I’m Daniel.

Hey everyone — I’m Daniel.

The last 18 months have been… a lot.

I lost my job.

My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Our family routine fell apart.

I applied to thousands of jobs and kept getting nowhere.

Somewhere in the middle of all the chaos — hospital visits, remote school days, endless job applications — I realized I needed something creative to hold onto. Something that wasn’t rejection emails or stress.

So I went back to something I hadn’t done in years: I started building apps.

At first it was just a way to stay sane. Then a way to stay useful. Then something I genuinely enjoyed again.

Today, that little survival tactic turned into three shipped apps:

1️⃣ PopClock www.nittram.ai/PopClock

A tiny minimalist “tap at 12” reflex game.
I built it during waiting-room hours — it helped my brain focus when life was heavy.

2️⃣ KnockFirst www.nittram.ai/KnockFirst

A simple “traffic light for home life.”
My wife and I both work from home, and after counting 47 interruptions in one day, I built a way to show if we’re available (🟢), in the zone (🟡), or not to be disturbed (🔴).
It launched on Product Hunt a few days ago.

3️⃣ Agent AI www.nittram.ai/agentai

A project from my insurance tech world — an AI-powered assistant for independent agents to analyze renewals and improve retention. Still early, but promising.

Why I’m here

I’m still looking for full-time work.
I’m still supporting my wife through treatment.
And I’m still building because it helps me stay optimistic.

I joined Product Hunt because I want to meet other builders who are creating things while navigating real life — family, health, job transitions, whatever your version of hard is.

If you’ve built something that helped you get through a tough year, I’d honestly love to hear about it.

And if anyone wants to connect, collaborate, or give early feedback on any of my apps, I’d be grateful.

Thanks for reading, and glad to be here.
