Proper hello! (TL;DR - Looking to connect with people passionate about news and public discourse)

Hello people of Product Hunt!

First timer here, still new in the world of product :)

My name is Nofar, and I’m part of the team behind Orbuc. We’re based in Canada and preparing for launch soon!

Before the official launch, etc, It's a good time for me to get familiarized with people with the same topics interest :)

We began with a simple but persistent question: how is information shaped before it reaches us? We started questioning how stories are framed, what gets amplified, and what gets overlooked.

Instead of building another personalized news feed to only share your own sentiment, we wanted to create a space where questions are structured around real-world events and the broader spectrum visible. A platform where perspectives sit side by side, and people can better understand how others are thinking, and grow with it over time as the topic evolves around us, as they usually do, and not just what’s trending.

Our hope is to contribute to a more transparent and balanced layer around news, opinion, and evolving public debate. We’re still refining of course, but getting ready for Alpha/Beta testers. In the meantime, I'm genuinely interested in connecting with people who care about the future of information and discourse.
