Your Mac is doing more than you think… I’m building a way to see it
Hey everyone 👋
I’m Elvis. I’ve got a background in computer science and systems integration, and I’ve always been the kind of person who wants to know what’s actually going on under the hood.
Lately I’ve been building for macOS, mostly around privacy and network visibility. I wasn’t really happy with what’s out there, so I decided to build something that felt better.
Tools like Little Snitch are powerful, but they can get overwhelming fast. You’re hit with constant prompts and technical details, and most people just end up clicking “allow” to move on, which kind of defeats the purpose. On the other side, LuLu is simpler but can be a bit rough, with people running into things like apps hanging or network issues.
What felt missing to me was something that just clearly shows what your Mac is connecting to in plain English, and helps you understand if it actually matters. No guesswork, no needing a networking background.
So that’s what I’ve been working on. Something clean, simple, and out of the way that just quietly does its job. You shouldn’t need to be a network engineer to understand what your computer is doing.
